Eating dinner with my then three year old. Him: What is this called? Me: It's called fish. Him: (a very concerned and serious look on his face) It isn't Nemo is it?

Yes, if self discipline was that easy I wouldn't have put the post up...duh. When I am already sick, then spend friday in the er with a kid having a peanut allergy reaction, and then on steroids the next five days, then his twin comes down sick and I'm up til four am with that one and giving him breathing treatments at…

It is sometimes a side effect but usually wears off over time.

Well if I answered that it would make my posts a little awkward now wouldn't it...but I do have one...hehe.

Great message. On the other end of the height spectrum the view is still the same. Although only a whopping 5'3" I never had what you would describe as the "elfin" body type. Not only that but growing up in the seventies when stick thin began to gain popularity with "Twiggy" and straight feathered hair was the goal. I had…

That's funny to me because I never really thought that was a question at all...until a few nights ago a man asked me "Don't you deserve a nice man?" And for a split second I wasn't sure how to answer that question...it's really got me thinking.

I love cottage cheese! My favorite way is with apple sauce and a little sliced almonds on top. Also, with any salad! Top a salad with a vinaigrette and stir in cottage cheese. Top the cottage cheese with salsa and serve on crackers. ... Cottage cheese with the standard pineapple. Cottage cheese with salt and pepper and…

Everyone is different and it is best to try and monitor how your body reacts. I don't need as much food as sometimes is recommended, but I am a small frame person. But some people feel yucky with less. I judge whether the body is hungry or not feeling well. If you aren't hungry then your body is likely satiated.

I'm sure no one is going to like what I have to say, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I used to think that way too, until I started listening to people. I started hearing women over and over and over saying "beauty is only skin deep. When is a man gonna see me for what's on the inside?" etc etc etc Those same women would see…

Everyone has a past, whether it defines your future is up to you. A man I once knew owned up to all his past, never made excuses, admitted it all and then said if you want to see who I am now, then hang around and judge for yourself. I have always remembered that and I judge people not on their past, but on their "now."…

Cut them in half, saute in a little olive oil with garlic. Then add chicken broth, cover and steam until tender but not mushy. Remove and toss with FRESH shredded parmesan. DEEEEELIIISHSH! Also, cut them in half, saute in olive oil and garlic. Add broth and cover to steam. Then stir in light cream cheese and a little…

I agree with a lot of what this post says. I was a vegetarian for over 20 years for animal rights and personal preference. But is is not a simple question of what is humane and what is not. If your main concern is the treatment of the animal, despite what type of animal it is, then you would be able to eat anything that…

I love the wii cause it tracks for a long time. So even though the dailies may change it gives a great long term picture. But always use the same scale then it will still be tracking your lose acurately. I just got weighed at the dr and it was only a pound of two different from what the wii told me.
