I once had appendicitis... From an operation and being in the hospital for a week I lost 10 pounds. I don't recommend it. Try the way these other folks have mentioned. It's totally doable in that timeframe. You'll surprise yourself!

I use Optimum Nutrition Whey. It dissolves pretty well in water. If I remember, the Six Star and Body Fortress brands clump up a little. Not a big deal if you just shoot it down really fast. As a bear, I'm hurt by all the negativity here... I mean, what if I had just snacked on some wicked awesome berries or some salmon?? I wouldn't even dream of chasing any of you with a full belly. Man here... Haha. There are lots of guys here, most of them just don't post up much. Do lots of research, build up a friend's list of people you trust/enjoy, and then just stay on it. I'm always on here looking for motivation, and I always find it. Good luck!

I am no expert. I know that heartbreak is awful, but everyone lives through it. Find something you want and make it your mission to attain it. Maybe in the process you will lose track of what it is that's bothering you. Like anyone else on your friend's list, I'm here to listen if you need to vent. :)

I always feel weaker when I lift after I run. Try flipping it, and do your priority workout first. If you want more benefit from weight training then try it before cardio.

My favorite meal = THREE McDonald's Griled Chicken Classics with no Mayo. 300 calories per sandwich and perfectly in line with my calorie requirements, plus it fills me up.
