  • I have the jawbone up 2. It doesn't have the heart rate monitor on it, but it does track steps, workouts and sleep patterns. I feel it does motivate me to make good decisions. It rates the nutritional value of the food I log in my fitness pal and buzzes if I sit too long at my desk at work (or on my couch after work).
  • I love my Asics. They are light and cushion-y with just enough support. I wear them for everything from jogging to doing workout videos.
  • I know its everyone's least favorite exercise (they are the bane of my existence) but do some pushups.
  • That sounds yummy!
  • I use The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce brand. I also usually use 1/3 cup parts for the sauce and cook the chicken with ginger and garlic seasonings. Yum :)
  • I agree! It is really cute! Great job at getting a good deal too!
  • Both of those recipes sound amazing! I think you would like one of my personal favs. the sauce is real easy: 1 part Louisiana hot sauce, 1 part soy sauce (i use reduced sodium) and 1 part honey. Simmer until desired thickness. (for less spice use less hot sauce) I pour that over stir-fried chicken and veggies and some…
  • Those are pretty! Yeah It would be awful if the one thing people remember about my wedding is that I fell flat on my face walking down the isle. LOL
  • I am making this for dinner tonight. It sounds really yummy and I have all the ingredients on hand. :) I am going to use Linguine instead of penne, fresh grape tomatoes instead of the canned ones and shredded parmesan, romano and asiago cheese blend instead of just parmesan. * 6 oz whole wheat penne (dry) * 2 boneless…
  • I am excited, today at work we started this healthy living challenge. So we get pedometers and will log all our steps that we take for a month on the works website. And on the website there is a converter to calculate other activities into steps too so I can add all the workouts I do regularly on top of the pedometer…
  • @greenpianokeys- I know how you feel about the FH not wanting to work out or eat right. It really did help me out a lot when he finally decided to get on board the healthy lifestyle wagon. Now we even have a little friendly competition between us to see who can burn more calories for the week and stick to calorie and h2o…

  • This sounds amazing! You are one of the people on mfp that inspire me to stick to my goals. :) I love love love lemon juice, with a little pepper on my salads. Everyone thinks I am crazy. I am glad that I'm not the only one who likes their salad this way. :)
  • I break it down in the walking and jogging segments. So I log x min joging at x mph and then x min of walking at x mph. If that helps. But then since I run outside I am estimating my actual speed. So I always put slower than I actually think i ran so I don't over estimate calories. ( I really should invest in a HRM... )
  • Brides on a Mission: week 7 (Please copy and paste this into your profile) 1. Weight loss/inches lost this week: 1 lb. I am at 35 lbs lost since I started mfp last May Woo Hoo! I also lost an inch off my waist and over an inch off my hips (last time I measured was in November) 2. Highlight of the past week: (not weight,…
  • Great job! I am about half way through and the thought of running for 20min straight next week is daunting.
  • What a great idea. I have never thought of freezing apples and bananas before. The watermelon idea was a bit weird though. What would you use watermelon ice cubes for? I would think that since watermelon really doesn't have a taste that it would be a lost cause to try to make a smoothie to taste like watermelon. Or would…
  • Things have been crazy this week. Brides on a Mission: week 6 (Please copy and paste this into your profile) 1. Weight loss/inches lost this week: 0 :grumble: 2. • That is a really neat idea! Oh, and love your colors. I tried to get my friend to pick colors similar to yours when she was considering a burgundy purple color.

  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/164540-brides-on-a-mission-week-5 for week 5
  • I have been looking on Alfredangelo.com. There are alot of cute dresses for under 125 dollars. Especially if you want shorter dresses. Also, Davids bridal has some good deals. :)
  • I usually just have a little cracked pepper on my cottage cheese. But I also love it with sliced tomatoes or peaches or other fruit.
  • Have you tried some greek yogurt with some fruit or granola? There is still some sugar but not quite as much. Also, I have taken to eating low fat cottage cheese for breakfast. Lots of protein and not much sugar.
  • I am currently re-doing C25k and am on week 3. Previously I got to week 5 and just froze at the thought of running 20 min straight. You can do it! If it takes 2 weeks to be comfortable doing week 4 then do it for 2 weeks. Just follow the signs that your body is giving you.
  • Good Job! I know I do the same thing. I guess its just reassurance that you are changing your lifestyle for good. And that its not just another diet.
  • I actually use mostly water in things like tuna helper/ hamburger helper. (3/4 water and 1/4 milk) And nobody knows the difference.
