  • are you going to a chain restaurant? I go once a month, sometimes more to a Pizza Buffet place. I plan what I'm getting ahead of time, so I know the calories and I don't over eat. I eat a lighter lunch that day. I have found that the longer I have been eating "healthier" the less I eat at buffet. , Because I feel sick if I…

  • It really bothers me when people get in the pool with stuff on. I know girls like to put conditioner on thinking it keeps the chlorine out of their hair...but the conditioner comes out in the water, and I have allergies to some perfumes, and it makes me feel like I'm gonna puke. I've had to stop my workout because of it.

My theory is meet them where they are at! this generation was born into technology, this is their life, it is what they are used…
  • I have recommend MFP to a couple of people, no ones signed up tho....as for friends on facebook who are into "fad" diets...I finally unsubscribed to them, cause I didn't want to hear it anymore. It was getting hard for me since I was in a slump and not losing, to read their posts about how fast it was coming off. I know…

  • I have 5 kids. The oldest turned 6 a week before #5 was born. They are now 23,21,20,18 and 17 It really depends on the children. My 2nd and 4th were the hardest, but that is because they both cried alot, and didn't sleep much, so it wouldn't have mattered whether they were #3 or #5, they would have been hard. That said, I…

  • I always tell my husband. Been married 25 years (26 next month), and only kept 2 secrets from him. one was when I was planning a surprise anniversary trip for us. • I am getting rid of my "fat" clothes as I go....It's to help me from fitting back into them. I really have no money to buy replacement, I shop at a thrift store, currently I have two pair of pants that fit, and they are getting too big. I defiantly can't afford to go back up, so if they are not there I will feel to guilty…

  • I'm hoping I can do this sooner than when my weight is all gone, but I want to beat my teen sons and my son in law in the plank pose. I know they have had contests before (longest was 3 min), so one day I'm going to have my husband casually mention it, then I'm going to join the boys when they do it...and WIN!!!!! I've…
  • I did the 30 day shed, loved it till I got to level 3, lots of jumping. My knees started hurting, so I've switched to lifting at the gym. I really liked it and even bought the ripped in 30, afraid to open it in case there is lots of jumping in that.
  • I read part of the book, thank goodness for samples from amazon. If I could have burned it I would have. I'm from the midwest. Farm country, my son-in-law is a dairy farmer (2nd largest in the state), I have many friends are farmers. most of what she says is garbage and untrue.

  • I really don't (didn't) care for fruits and vegies, but have found that the more I eat them, and the less I eat other stuff I'm starting to like them more. When I started eating them I had to put cheese sauce on my vegies, and started using less and less to try and cut calories, now I don't even want the cheese.
  • You should add some protein do your diet...but I know all abut the love of bread and cookies. I am a recovering carb addict. I have discovered since I've been eating less I crave less. But the following have helped. fiber one 90 calorie bars....help with the desire for cookies and sweets. Light Italian bread, 40 calories a…

  • Thanks for the Advice...It helps....Think I will stick with the rippped in 30 for the next month and see where I am at and maybe switch to lifting...
