How does one figure out their maintenance? Trial and error?

Can you go into detail what you do for a cutting cycle and a bulking cycle? What kind of sets, how you do your splits, how you gradually decrease the calories on a cut, etc?

you can enter each machine seperately. the exercise database should have em. just go to exercise > cardiovascular > then search for the exercise you did. Then you can input the amount of time you spent doing the exercise. One word of caution, MFP tends to over estimate the cals burnt. I always subtract about 30% from it…

I did. It confirms my belief and many others that the tracking of calories is more important than restricting yourself on carbs that you need for fuel.

Im in the Marines, and for what its worth, I can tell you how we do it. For males we measure only the neck and the waist, right along the belly button. Subtract the neck from the waist, take that value and compare it to the chart in the body fat order based on your height. For females they measure the neck waist and hips.…

exaactly. Im not on a "diet" either, but I do eat the same things every day, just because I like the routine. Today Im taking a break from the routine and Im gonna enjoy fried chicken and biscuits and its all going to be within my calorie goal.
