I usually do a protein shake, greek yogurt or instant oatmeal. The oatmeal is very filling. You could even do all 3 for around 330 calories.

I also agree that YOU have to be ready. I quit over 2 years ago and so far so good. My husband nagged me for so long and I tried to hide it from him etc, but I didn't stop until I was ready. I used the patch, which did help with cravings, but you have to tough out the "behaviors", like having a cig after you eat or driving…

You can add me! I started at 256 and am down 14 lbs so not too far away from 250. I agree that it is very overwhelming, so this time I'm taking it 10 lbs at a time. Just focused on losing 10 lbs is much easier to deal with than 100 lbs.

Could it be that time of the month?? I know for me, I bloat really bad and will gain up to 5 lbs, but by a week later it's gone.

I used the nicotine patch and gum to wean off. They really helped with cravings and taking the edge off. I knew for myself, I would never be able to do it cold turkey. I love marinating ck breasts in italian dressing and then baking, delicious! I also love baking them topped with marinara sauce and a little mozzarella, a healthy ck parm :)
