They may be burning more because they weight more.... your young and don't weight much now... eat more healthy food and don't compare your burn. If you want to be toned...lift weights, do pilates, and those types of workouts.

Form.... check that running form. Don't strick on your heals... it makes running easier on your joints and a lot more enjoyable. Go for it, if it's what you want to do!

I like ours. The games are fun and you may not get your heart rate up to Zone 3 or 4, but a low zone 2 will burn fat and boots metabilism....and it's a lot more fun than just sitting on the sofa watching mind numbing TV, IMO.

I agree ...take it outside if you can. If you can't take it outside, make sure you have the treadmill on an incline. Try other exercises as well like high knees and butt kickers. They help get different muscles in the legs going which in turn helps your run a ton. Don't do these on the treadmill of course.... just do them…

Drink water.. walk the dogs.. drink more water.. make breakfast either before or after yelling at the kids... and yes, I do it all naked. LOL.. j/k.. I fit in dressing somewhere in there.

LOL! When I worked at McDeath we used to have pickle races.....we'd toss the pickles on the wall and see how long they would stick...the person with the last pickle on the wall won. Other times we'd just toss them up there for fun. Fast food is gross on so many levels. LOL!

Completely dedends on what your doing, imo. Running... yeah, I'd rather do that alone or with someone who will make me push harder. I'd still have it. Yes, protein can turn into fat.... but if your going to the gym and working hard, your body may just thank you for that little extra. Of course, this is just my opinion. Maybe work a little harder tonight ;)

Can you drive seperate?? This is important to you....tell him how important it is and ask him for support and understanding. Go to your class..take your shower at the gym and meet up with him. You go girl...don't let anyone stop you! You need that "me" time.

I have the same problem. I do so good until about 3 pm ...then Bam!, the stressors of the day and my hunger take over. Then at the end of the day, I feel terrible. I have kept protein bars in my purse....as fruit and veggies in a baggie get all squished. Your not alone, if that helps.
