Should I drink my protein shake? Too much protein??

I cheated on my clean eating today and had fried chicken. I was on the run all day and it was easy. While I didn't go over my calories today, since I prelogged my super I have gone over my protein. I'm ready to work out and I usually have a protein drink afterwards as my recovery. I put in in the freezer right before I workout and look forward to it afterwards. I'm already over my protein, so should I just skip to protein shake? It really helps with the muscle soreness but will the excess protein turn to fat?

I'd still have it. Yes, protein can turn into fat.... but if your going to the gym and working hard, your body may just thank you for that little extra. Of course, this is just my opinion. Maybe work a little harder tonight ;)

If your going off the original MFP goals for protein ... it's fine to go over. They are normally set very low for the average person.
