hi - i recently cut pop (diet) out of my life. It's been two weeks. I have suffered from terrible headaches each day, as I am certain this is because I quit. I say quit the pop, and don't do the MIO - its one artificial sweetener for another. Best to stick with water, plain old water. Try lemons or oranges or even cucumber…

fruit is a great substitute for sweet treats. However sometimes I get a craving for chocolate. I found a protein bar called nugo, its dark chocolate, mint flavored and they have another one with pretzels and dark chocolate - they have 10 grams of protein and 200 calories, so its a candy bar - but better!

I say skip the pills. Oprah said sonething several years ago- she said that she aas really really rich, and if there was a pill ahe could take that would help her lise weight sge woukd be akinby and own the company! there just js no pill that does such a thing. Try intermittent fasting. I have been doing it- it's working…

i believe many of those calories come from eating the shell, which i think is not supposed to be eaten anyway. get a calorie count on them without the shell. soy nuts are a good option. as are roasted chick peas. if all else fails, popcorn will work. Good Luck.

one thing that will really help you is if you stop avoiding the camera. i used to do that too. i realized recently that i was only hiding from reality. get your picture taken, be accountable for the choices you make. it will do wonders for your self esteem and then things will begin to change for you! best of luck, kari
