Thank you, ladies! this was my most personally fulfilling journey yet. SO amazing to experience, and I learned a ton about myself in the process. I also know that this is for life. Initially, I wanted to lose weight for vanity reasons, but now that I've hit the mark for the most part, I now know that health is of the…

thanks guys! it sounds like i should just push through it, and with time it'll get easier. I especially like the idea of alternating target areas... maybe i'll do ab-leg-ab and see where that's get me (and how I feel) about a month later. thanks for encouragement guys! I'm ready to see some changes and I really hope…

can you share exactly what your lifting regimen is? I would love to start lifting because while i've lost a lot of weight, i still kinda feel "skinny fat"... would love to see more muscle definition in my abs, legs, and arms. but i just don't know where to start.

Add me! I weigh 150 (5' 5''), looking to get down to 145 or so. Sure it's not 10 pounds, but those lost couple pounds are the hardest!! So could def use the extra support =)

The most I lost was 43 lbs. That was in June 2012. Took about 9 months to get there. I'm currently in maintenance mode fluctuating within 2 lbs of my goal weight. couldn't be happier .... :)

this is why i love MFP. these success stories are so refreshing, and girl you look fabulous!!! question: I've taken a zumba class here and there in the past, but am wondering if I can do it at home without an instructor? If so, what DVD(s) do you recommend? keep up the good work, lady!

as folks have alluded... there's no easy fix. you just have to do it. i used to go in the evenings, but switched to mornings about 2 months ago now. its so much better. you get it out of the way for the day (SO hard to go to the gym after a long day's work) and it really revs you up for the remainder of the day and reminds…

i ate a giant choc chip cookie and bowl of veggie lentil soup for lunch. mixing cravings with something healthy always makes me feel better =)

im in maintenance mode, and i aim to weigh myself on a weekly basis. logging my gains is important because it fuels me for the upcoming week. if i'm up a pound or two, i gotta work harder. if im down a pound or two, i can loosen up a bit. and if im the same weight, then i can continue what im doing.

- figure out a way to incorporate regular activity into your daily routine. you're not as busy as you think, and this should be just as high a priority as breathing or eating - don't change yourself to fit in with the crowd. do YOU. - spend that year studying abroad in Europe, or on the volunteer trip in Mexico - apply to…

wow, thanks guys! some clarifications... - my primary objective is to tone up. in the most flat out terms: i want a flatter tummy, and less jiggly legs and arms. - i dont want to "bulk up" or "gain weight". i understand that building lean muscle may mean some weight gain, but that is not my primary objective. rather, i…

i eat about 10-12 chocolate chips (dark chocolate preferred) with about 5-7 dry roasted unsalted almonds. tastes like indulgent trail mix! you get your chocolate fix, healthy fat, and even some protein. boom! problem solved!
