Sometimes hormones won't let you lose that last bit of weight while breastfeeding. Your body holds onto it like a reserve. If you feel jiggly, maybe start some strength training to firm up areas? Everytime I dropped my calories too low, I had an impact on supply. Make sure your getting the right macros to keep supply up as…

The estimated amount of calories in breastmilk is ~20 calories per ounce. It does depend on the fat content of your personal supply though, everyone is a little different. Most babies eat between 20-30 oz/day so you can calculate that out to be between 400-600/day depending on how hungry your baby is.

The only exercise I did yesterday involved the typical food/stuff shopping and laundry. I consider laundry exercise because it involves 3 flights of stairs every trip, I have to do on average 5 loads and then carry the 30lb bags of laundry back up said stairs. I had actually been doing ok working up but have stalled the…

Tricep dips at your desk or if your chair has arms and isn't too wobbly. Maybe some sitting ab work.

I used to heart on the Hardy boys and Lita. (does this show how old I am?) Now I like Daniel Brian and Randy Orton. I thought Rey Mysterio had a knee injury and needed surgery? I think he should be coming back soon.

Awesome! congrats! Is this your first? If so....its only been 3 weeks. I would suggest letting yourself get used to being a mom and taking it easy. Most doctors don't recommend starting exercise until 6 weeks after birth. You need to heal first and have things go back into position or you could injure yourself. Also, be…

Hi, I'm Melissa. 31 years old, married with a 2 year old and a 11 month old daughters. Work full time. I'm 230 right now and would also like to make it to sub 200 by years end. I'm having severe motivation problems from lack of sleep. Haven't had a full nights sleep since my little minion was born almost a year ago. We are…

I actually lost weight. I was 225 for my first before, then I had severe morning sickness (hyperemesis) and lost about 30lbs then stabilized then made it back to my pre preg weight by the time I gave birth. After birth I sat around 200lbs til I stopped pumping (unable to breastfeed). Almost the same for my second, I was…

I am also interested! Anything to get me motivated at this point!

Hi, You can log it food in the data base. That is what I used to do. It subtracts the calories but also your macros so you know better how much more protein and fat you should be eating to maintain supply.

I am a morning person but I hate exercising in the morning because everytime I try, I always hurt myself some how. My mind is awake but my body doesn't function. Plus, I get up at 5am for work anyways...so...I would have to get up at 4am to exercise and I love my sleep too soooo....no. I love exercising after I get home…

Hi, You can add me. I just turned 31, and have a 2 year old and an 10.5 month old girls. I work full time, up at 5am and back home with the kids after work/daycare around 5:30-6pm. I work out after I throw dinner in the oven, doing a full body strength routine 3x/week and try to get on my exercise bike for a bit. I am…

M,W, F- Full body strength routine: Push-ups/bench press, Squats, Deadlifts, Bicep curls, Bent over rows, etc. T,Th- 30 mins of exercise bike on climber (incline up then down) setting. I'm struggling myself, not usually with time so much anymore now that my youngest is older, but with tiredness because she still isn't…

Before all these apps came out, I would note the time before I started and when I finished, then used google maps to map out my route to see how far it was and I used those numbers to estimate my speed.

I would like to join this. I love biking, but I rarely get to go out on a ride anymore with having 2 young kids in the evenings and hubby doesn't get home til 8pm, plus we are losing daylight now. So I'm resigned to my exercise bike...its....boring but mostly gets the job done. Maybe this thread will motivate me to get my…

I'm 5'7" and I'm aiming for between 150-160 for now. My sis is 5'4" and looked really good at 145 and we have a similar frame so that is why i'm aiming there. Plus I plan on putting on a bunch of muscle instead of just doing aerobics (of which I mostly like cycling). She was skinny fat at the time but still looked good. As…

I have been heavy my entire life. When I was 22 I started having stomach problems. At 24 I had gallbladder surgery because it had literally died in my body and was making me sick. I had been in a lot of pain over those 2 years so I started weight watchers a few months before surgery, before they knew it was my gallbladder…

Hi, Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!! We are planning to move her crib back into my daughters room but have to wait til tomorrow because its a 2 person job, we have to take it apart and reassemble it. We did try the bottle of water last night instead of formula. It worked well I think. She woke up a few more times…

When I breast fed, I could have a giant meal and then 2 hours later be absolutely starving. I just went with it and didn't gain during BFing, It was after I stopped that I started gaining. You need to eat something if your hungry and if your not getting the right stuff or enough stuff, your milk production will suffer.…

I'm not opposed to CIO, we have tried it before, but she keeps going, my limit was 2 hours one night, I was just so exhuasted. And then it took forever to settle her. Right now we have a sort of half co-sleeping arrangement going on. Its been like this since she was born. With breastfeeding when she was younger it was the…

Hi, yes she does get a bottle at night but I know she isn't hungry, she uses it to sooth back to sleep. She can use a sippy cup but is still working on it so maybe I will try wo work with her on that and switch to it at night. Would water in a bottle work? Or would she just drink too much water and flood her diaper? We did…

Wow! thanks for the suggestions! I think I will order that no cry sleep solution book and see what its about. She is definately in tune to me, but she reacts more when daddy takes her and I don't. She gets upset because he is "not the mama!" We have some space issues at the moment and only have one other room we could move…

I lift (not very heavy right now- restarting after babies) but I eat around 2k a day.
-
The only reason I don't eat close to bedtime is because I'll get nasty reflux all night long, epecially after something saucy. That said...it has never made a difference to my weight what time I eat as long as I get my macros and not eat chocolate cake before bed or something.... Dammit....now I want your pizza....

I exercise at night so I usually eat them back the next day because (especially after strength training) I get super super hungry the next day after a heavy work out. So sometimes it looks like i'm over and sometimes it looks like i'm under but i'm just following my hunger.
