If you have to ask, it's probably not right.

6 months postpartum from baby number 1. Got a lot to lose, but I'm determined now!

I'm 27 weeks and I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I have a meeting with an diabetic educator on Friday and I have to get a glucometer to track my blood sugars. I have no idea really what to expect, so feel free to add me if you would like!

You're most likely retaining some water in your muscles. Up your water intake and watch your sodium levels and see if your weight drops.

I thought my Charge HR was overestimating until I actually looked up my BMR and my caloric needs based on my activity levels and realized it was pretty accurate. I inputed your numbers (assuming you are 5 foot 6) in this formula to find your BMR, which is the calories you would burn at your height, weight and age if you…

I hadn't lost any weight in months, so seeing a 4 pound loss for me was great. Even when I was losing weight regularly I usually only lost half a pound a week. My biggest issue is portion control and the containers really help with that. And yes, sorry I should have clarified that the 12 inches was total inches. I figured…

I try to drink at least 8 cups. More or less, depending on how I am feeling for the day. Gross, but usually I can tell by my poop (WHAT GIRLS POOP) if I've had enough water or not. Too liquid = too much water. Too dry = not enough water. It's a pretty simple way of telling, although kind of gross. Hahaha

I absolutely love the 21 Day Fix program. The containers make it so simple to make sure you are getting the correct amount of food, you just have to do some planning with it. The workouts are awesome, too. They're hard, but basically only has hard as you want to make them. I have completed one round and I lost about 4…

I love the 21 Day Fix workouts, but that's because i'm just starting out again. I also lost 4 pounds while I was doing the 21 Day Fix challenge, but obviously that was with eating within the limits of the program and drinking Shakeology along with the workouts. I haven't tried Turbofire, but I do want to expand to the…

I chose mine based off the higher range of BMI for my height, my frame/build size and what I have weighed before. I'm 5'8" with a large build. BMI says a healthy weight range for me is 122 to 164 pounds. If I weighed 122 pounds I would look like a skeleton because of my build. I'm very tall and broad. When I weighed 185…

Hi, fellow Minnesotan and LOL at your Blair Walsh picture. You must have watched the game, too? :p Just like that. Pretty much the same way you would approach anybody. Say hi, how are you and mention something of mutual interest (or something in the area) to get the conversation going (and keep it going). Compliments are…

Yes, I'm definitely dealing with grief weight right now. In March I lost both of my grandparents AND a close friend within weeks of each other. Basically every week we were attending a funeral. After that, I stopped caring. I was definitely depressed and I totally lost motivation to do anything. Cue 6 months later and I'm…

Try out StrongLifts! It's 5 basic moves lifting weights and you do 5 sets of 5. Squats, bench press, overhead press, barbell rows & deadlifts. It's super duper simple and there is an app that tells you what weights to use for each workout. Check out their website, it explains a lot and gives the amounts beginners should…

Definitely add some protein & fiber to your salad; tuna, chicken, beans, nuts, seeds, avocado, sweet potato. Have a cheese stick and an apple or banana with your salad, too. Other options to keep it interested are to make your salad into a wrap, that way you won't get bored with a salad everyday. Make up some veggies,…

I actually do about the same thing! I use my Fitbit Flex to track my calories burned each day and then MFP to track calories eaten. And then I have a spreadsheet on my phone that I do that same calculation with! It's such simple math!

Not bashing you, OP! If you really want a gym like that, go to Planet Fitness. Or save up your money you're spending on a gym and make your own. Planet Fitness has pizza days, you get kicked out if you wear too little clothing and they have some sort of alarm if people are lifting too many weights or something.

How much your aches and pains go away after you've even lost a little bit of weight! 10 pounds makes a huge difference on your body!

I've used their mozzarella cheese for making pizza! It definitely has a different consistency and flavor when melted (it's more gooey/sticky) than normal cheese, but it's pretty good! I don't like the cheddar, but mozzarella has been good to me!

Thanks, I have added all of you!!

When I go to Mcdonalds I like to get the Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken. Sometimes I will order a small fry to go with it, just so I don't feel like I'm always limiting myself. The salad is about 340 calories (I only use half the dressing packet).

I took a look at your diary, it looks like you aren't eating any snacks and you don't eat dinner. Like, ever. If you really want to eat more you have to just do that. Eat more. Get 3 meals and 2 snacks a day of HEALTHY food. It looked like you ate out a lot from what I saw. If you are scared to eat more, then you might…

Usually companies like that will give you the nutrition information if you shoot them an email. So I would try that!

Arugula!!! It tastes like rotten dandelions!

Since I move my scale from bathroom floor to the closet, I usually weigh myself twice and then if I get different numbers, I will weigh myself once more. The third time usually matches the second number, so I go with that.
-
I usually get the southwest salad with grilled chicken! So good and not a million calories! If it's a cheat meal I get whatever I want.
-
Just make yourself go!! Pick a time during the day and designate that as your "gym time" so you are on a little bit of a structured schedule! Going at the same time makes it become a habit.

Honestly, I'm sure you can find more fun workouts to do instead of 1000 jumping jacks.
