  • I checked out your food diary and you are eating good foods. The part that concerns me is your low calorie count. My doctor said not to go unter 1200 calories except a rare day. You need 1200 and eat back your calories. With that low calorie intake, you are slowing down your metabolism.
  • I love to make stir fry with many kinds of vegetables. I put either shrimp or chopped chicken in with the vegetables. I just eat a large portion of that and skip the rice. I have become a fan of turkey bacon instead of regular bacon. It is great in an omelette with co jack cheese. Omelettes keep me filled up for hours.
  • One thing I find when I am not loosing weight is to lower my carbs. We can still eat the same calories a day, but it a lot of those calories are from vegetables it really helps. I have done things like cut back on bread and eat a "Flat Out" Flatbread wrap that is low carb. There are low carb tortilla's also. Most of my…
  • Always use the same scale!!!!! I like to weigh in the morning, before eating anything, as I get into the shower, so I have no clothes on. Weighing later in the day, clothes can weigh different, how much you have eaten or drank can change weight. I also weigh every day. It helps me to see the trends of what I eat causes me…
  • When I lived in one state I lived across the street from a gym, and I was in better shape and was smaller than in the state I live now. Of course I live in the country now and live 30 miles from a gym. Now I had to buy a treadmill to use in the snowy winter and staying in shape is a challenge. Friends can be an influence…
  • Eat your fruit. I am over on my sugar every day and all my sugar is from fruit. Snacking on fruit helps to keep the blood sugar just high enough so that you are not famished at a meal. When I snack on fruit, I tend to eat less calories at the next meal.
  • Yo Yo your calories and your exercies. If you do the same exercise and eat the same amount of calories every day your body will set your metabolism accordingly. Eat a lot one day , then back off the next, switch your work ups. You have done great.
  • Eat what is says you are suppose to be eating!! It will keep your metabolism up. Also you may be gaining muscle along with the water weight from that time of month. Try doing different exercises for different times. Also yo yo your calories some. Your body has it's metabolism set, keept it guessing.
  • Take a couple days off to heal, then yes, I agree, to stretch those muscles out before exercising.
  • Low carb is good to loose weight if you stay within your calorie allowance which should be easy to do. Here are some ideas for meals. Egg omelette w/cheese and turkey bacon. Fish or any meat Lots of vegetables Some fruits. I love peanut butter or almond butter on celery. Here is a carb counter…
  • Always eat at least 1200 calories, no less, my doctor told me that. You have many days that are less. Your body can get used to those low calories and your metabolism slows down. I yo yo with my calories and exercise. One day 1200 calories, the next 1400, same with exercise. Walk, bike, stairs, aerobics. Never let your…
  • Keep up the hard work, it is definately paying off.
  • I was eating 1200 calories also and you loose for awhile, especially if you are really heavy. But then it was explained to me that you must eat your exercise calories also. So if you exercise 300 calories, you must then eat 1500 calories a day. It sounds weird, but it does work. Also eat a big breakfast, exercise in the…
  • I am trying to eat low carb and I find that omeletes keep me filled up. Probably the protein in it. After an omelette i can go 6 hours without thinking of food.
  • Shrimp with any stir fry vegetables and a little low sodium soy sauce.
  • I am watching carbs, so I get their salads. If you are watching sodium, turkey is the best. Definately better than a big greesy burger, but lots of carbs in that good bread.
  • Definately a figure to be proud of!
  • You could weigh the morning after you get home, you always need to use the same scale.
  • I have been sucessful with a yo yo method. I may do a 1200 calorie day with no exercise once a week and then a 1500 or 1800 calorie day with lots of exercise. I find that you need to eat your exercise calories burned. Switch up your exercise too. Don't do the same thing everyday. You do not want you body to anticipate what…
  • I have been getting the same comments from all kinds of people. People are surprised eating healthy can help you loose weight, but most people are not ready for the commitment. Your husbands family may think there is somthing going on that is not good, give them time, they will come around.
  • Sound like you have something out in your back, go to a Chiropractor. Don't work through pain, that is you bodies way of telling you something is wrong.
  • Set a crock pot out in the garage.
  • First of all when we start exercising we gain muscle which weighs more than fat. So you may see your waist shrinking and still weight the same. That is good because muscle burns more calories than fat. You should be eating your food calories plus your exercised burn calories. So if you are on a 1200 calories diet and burn…
  • Giving up soda all together is the best. If you can't, go to diet. I used to drink diet soda until I found out the sodium content can keep you from loosing wieght. Also my orthopedic surgeon told me that the phosphoric acid in the dark soda pulls the calcium out of your bones. So now I look at soda as the enemy. It helps!
  • Everyone's body is different. Since it looks like you have already lost 46 pounds, I would say keep doing what you are doing. As we loose weight, our body needs less calories. My doctor just said do not go under 1200 calories or you will go into starvation mode. I find the yo-yo method works. Keep your body guessing.…
  • Some days I burn 200-300 calories, other days I burn 600-700 calories. I find that the yo-yo effect works best for me. On days I burn more calories, I can eat more calories. Keep your body guessing as to what you are going to do each day. If you do the same thing every day, your body's metabolizm will regulate itself…
  • I was having the same thing. If you cut back on your carbs, especially breads and rice you don't get the high peaks in blood sugar and then crash. For me carbs from fruits don't bother me like anyting with white flour. Also eat protein at each meal as it will stabilize blood sugar.
  • Try to eat more calories for breakfast and then eat some fruit or nuts for snacks between meals. Try not to eat empty calories like potato chips. Dr. Oz says each meal should be half fruits and vegebles. It helps, you can eat a lot of food for very little calories. You can eat two cups of vegetables for less calories than…
  • It is like a right of passage on loosing weight when you can fit into misses intead of womens. The inbetween stage is bad when you need some of each. Still a good feeling.
  • Better a pudding cup than a whole big box of homemade pudding!
