OK, so...I have this same challenge! I went 2 months under calories or near (per MFP for 2 pounds/week) and lost just 2 pounds. Frustrating! (And yes, I weigh/measure food, compare labels to those on the MFP database to make sure, record every nibble.) I took a 'break' over Christmas and New Year's while visiting family…

I'm 42. I've lost 64 since joining MFP (and another 15 before). I'd like to lose 50 more. Such a challenge, but slow and steady, right? Send along a request!

I'm 42. Youngest, hmm, 30. Oldest, maybe, 60.

I'm not sure if they're 'bad' or not, but usually Friday is my 'relaxed day' as I go out with friends to pubs for dinner and a drink or two. However, during the day I watch calories, logging, and then 'relax' in the evening, not worrying about sharing a fry with friends or those 2 Cosmos.

New MFP friends! I'm a single (divorced in May 2013) Mom of 3 kids, ages almost 15, almost 12 and almost 9. I've lost 64 pounds through MFP (with another 15 before). Send along requests!

Don't forget how you are feeling! There are some days when I am OK with 1200 calories, and others when my 1680 isn't enough...depending on how busy my days or how much exercising I do...or TOM. If I've eaten some veggies and fruits and lean meats/proteins and drank enough water, I don't worry so much about a 1200-1400 day…

Awesome! I also live near a mountain. I can walk from my house, through the woods and up to the peak. Not as challenging as yours, but a challenge. It's been my goal to get up it without getting winded! Someday! :)

Talk to your doctor. I was overweight (70+ pounds) with all 3 of my kids. I was told just to concentrate on eating healthy foods and not worry about additional calories. (I gained 32 with my 1st, 12 with 2nd and 7 with 3rd.)

I tend to get hungry every 3 hours too, so I just have small snack-like meals through the day instead of 3 big ones. I think listening to what your body is telling you is important!

In total, I've lost 76 pounds in about 2 years. I still have minimum 50 more pounds to lose and hope to do that in 2014!

Take measurements! I was stalled for 2 months and getting really discouraged...I read about taking measurements and did 5 weeks into my stall. 3 weeks later I remeasured: I had lost 3 inches off my waist and 2.5 on my thighs and 1 inch off my hips...and I had gained 3 pounds! Losing 3 inches off my waist was awesome!…

(No experience, but thinking of doing for myself...Commenting so I can find it later and see what others say. :) )

Awesome! What a GREAT feeling, huh?? All the best for 2014!

I'm been on Metformin for PCOS for years and years. The only issue I have had with it is that if I eat too many carbs - like over 200g - I will have some belly rumbles and a bout of diarrhea. It keeps me in check, although 200g of carbs is more than I typically consume.

No advice, but I hear you! I'm a B! :sigh:

(Really? 30? You're awesome!!!)

35?? (Photos are so fuzzy for me to see on here!)

Thanks for all your responses. I've got a ways to go still and notice that my skin is loose and wonder how it will be as I continue to lose. Patience, right? I'm still in the process!

It's totally frustrating! I finally had a loss morning after almost 8 weeks of stall. Ugh! But I took the advice of others on here and measured...In the last 3 weeks I have lost 3 inches on my waist and 2.5 on my thighs. Weight continued to be the same or MORE and I was actually smaller. Try for yourself! It might be just…

Probably not. The kids and I will be staying and celebrating with family. Computer access is limited...but I plan on making some healthier choices to off set the less healthy ones (I hope). I do plan on having dessert!

It's a great feeling, huh? A lot of my clothing is getting way too loose, but I keep saying another 10 pounds...I'm getting a bit frumpy looking though! LOL Awesome job!

I mix plain Greek Yogurt with blueberries and strawberries and some slivered almonds...or a tablespoon of PB and another of a natural jam.

That's me lately! I was suddenly up 5 # on Sunday! Monday and Tuesday I lost the 5# and another 1/2#...then gained the 1/2# back this morning. :sigh:
