I am wanting to do one Metric Century ride each month of the year. And yes, bikepacking is also something I want to do next year. In general I plan to keep setting monthly biking goals and ride the wheels off my bike!

77 today - not sure how this is possible. I ate more carbs yesterday (like double). All I can say is the exercise must be doing something for me.
-
133 today. Ugh! I gotta get back on track with lower carb eating!

135 today. I took my evening medicine about 3 hours earlier than normal. I am thinking that caused the higher reading as I was pretty low carb yesterday. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

I did 113 miles in November. My goal for December is 125 miles. 10 miles done already - 115 to go!

I'm loving my Fat Bike. I am sure I will save my money and buy one that is lighter and fits me better. But with the sloppy weather we've been having here in KC my Fat Bike is very handy!

114 today (not sure how it was that low!)

Just realized I never did this when I joined up here. My name is Ron and I have been doing MFP for a few years now. Late last summer I discovered cycling as a better exercise option over running as my knees and feet kept getting hurt running. Fell in love with cycling right away. My 2 rides at the moment are a 2014…

Last nights ride on the Dolomite. Was about 12 feet away from an 8 point buck at one point!

Thanks! I'll see how the experiment goes when I check tomorrow morning. I plan to have another on plan day with some mild riding again too.

Awesome read! Thanks for sharing!

124 today for me as well. I'm beginning to think that my readings are one day in arrears. For instance - I had a great day Saturday. I ate pretty dang good and did an 18 mile bike ride that day. Next morning my sugars were 148 (Friday was awful for me). Then Sunday I again did kinda bad (pizza and 2 pieces of pie) but…

From Sunday's chilly ride on Indian Creek Trail. Fall is really looking good here!

That is AWESOME!!! Great job taking care of yourself! You should be proud!

Thanks for the tips and for continuing to inspire us! I love your story about how you wanted the doctor to let you do surgery and he pushed you to logging first. Congrats!

After a 148 yesterday mine was 99 today. Not sure how that is even possible as I carbed up a bit yesterday (pizza and pecan pie). I did do a ton of yard work and rode my bike for a few minutes. Maybe that helped. Happy Monday all!

125 today - heading in the wrong direction. Been fighting sugar cravings and my exercise levels are going down. Not a good combination. But this number motivates me to work harder!
-
104 today. Also had my 3 month blood draw this am so by next Friday I can see where the A1c went. Was 8.2 before so I am thinking it will be lower than that.
-
I just checked it out - looks like a way to make trainer riding more fun! Might have to look into doing it this winter.

Talk about an amazing accomplishment! Thanks for sharing - I can't think of much more motivating to the rest of us. You should be very proud of yourself for sticking to your goals!
