Well, to my kids 'normal' has nothing to do with my weight LOL

UGH... I can never get pictures to post right

It is my understanding that MFP has the protein set on the low side and most people either reset it manually or just accept going over. I go over just about every day. If you are strength training, your body needs the protein to help repair and build muscle so don't skimp on it. I think you would have to eat A LOT over to…

Return it now and invest in Polar. I did the same thing you did and it died on my in the middle of a run less than 2 weeks after I bought it. After that, I found many similar stories. I noticed a few weeks ago that Target has dropped the whole Sportline product line.

A cup is 8 oz, so if you are drinking 60 oz of water, 7.5 cups of water. When you are starting out, it takes your bladder a few days to adjust to the intake, especially if you have been drinking much less prior to now. Eventually, it should get used to it and the nighttime trips should lessen, if not go away completely.

A friend of mine swears her kids love them, but I just can't imagine that, even being low fat, they are any good for you. There would have to be something mixed in to help them foam out of the container. While one look at my food diary would tell you I am not a food purist by any stretch of the imagination, but I have…

Okay... didn't wait too long! I didn't have cottage cheese, but I did have Greek Yogurt. It seemed a bit runny so I added about another 1/8 c of oats. I also used egg substitute. Definitely needs the cinnamon or maybe a splash of vanilla, but not bad with a smidge of light margarine and some honey!

I just may try that!

Wine! Red, white or blue... must have wine.

My daughter and I did the "real deal" through a community ed class in Belly Dancing. It was a lot of fun!

Most of my weight loss is from the Wii Fit Plus. Like one reply suggested though, you have to take it seriously. If you just play balance games and ski jump, you aren't going to get any where. Stick with the aerobic and strength training exercises. I usually aim for about 60 minutes. 20 Aerobics, 20 strength, 20…

Yoga. Extra exercise. Time to yourself. And if you still need a candy bar... well... I hate to say go for it, but maybe have a half. TOM is a fact of life. Just remember to get yourself back on track when it's gone. L

First, thank you for the tips on maintaining. I am getting close to that myself and was wondering how I would work it. For your answer, I would try gradually adding back in more calories to your average day to see at what point you stop losing weight. If you get to a point where you are gaining you will know to cut the…

I love my bleu cheese. SO, I use a tip I got from Biggest Loser a few seasons ago. I always order (or serve) my dressing on the side. I dip my fork in the dressing and then load up the fork with salad. You get the taste and a lot less dressing. L

Exactly!

There are worse things you could have than a roast for dinner. For starters, what we roasting? Pork? Beef? Chicken? Turkey? Veggies are always good. Season well for good flavor. Use stock or low sodium broth instead of any water. If you want, minimize any fat you would use to brown the meat by using Pam or use olive oil so…

how about yogurt? You could either top it with fruit or make a smoothie out of it.

I'm not sure if it's my quads or my biceps, but I'm enjoying the definition in both.

For what its worth, my KIDS love it!!! I think the spinach helps keep it moist, too.

I would say especially since you are at the beginning of a new program to do what you can. I started Brazil Butt Lift this week and there is no way I can keep up, but I am doing what I can knowing it will come together eventually.

I disagree. To be on a diet takes willpower, but to make a lifestyle change takes commitment. We are all going to slip some time, and that's okay. If I decide to get a 1/4 pounder from McDs, I don't see that as a break in my will power. I see the big picture that I've eaten really well the past week and I can have this…

My first thought after Cool Beans was the price point. For only the "healthiest and freshest" ingredients, you are going to pay a pretty for them and of course have to pass that on to your customer. This is a tough economy to introduce a place that is on the higher end of the price point. A lot of restaurants over portion…

I though of spaghetti sauce, too! Can it up in jars and you could have a head start on Christmas presents!

I don't. Most of it goes down the drain anyway that I think the traces that get into one serving are minute.

If you don't mind, I am going to use your story to let my son know he needs to keep active. He fell 180 ft off a cliff in March. His major injury has been a broken tib/fib, ankle, and calcaneus. I try to tell him it is easier for him to get in shape now that he's a healthy weight than it will be when it gets older and…

Hey there! I'm 42 with 3 kids ranging 21 - 9. I'm toward the end of my main goal, but I'd be happy to give you tips along the way and cheer you on! Good luck! Linda

I just started Brazil Butt Lift this morning and pear shape is the problem I am targeting with it. That said, you may hear that while you can tone certain muscle groups, in this case your rear, legs, and abs, it is very hard to target fat loss. It is going to come off where it comes off and be harder burn in other areas.…

can someone code that correctly, please?

I have a great one: 1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey 1 onion, chopped 1 bunch spinach, thick stems removed and leaves chopped (about 4 cups) 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parlsey, chopped 1/2 c whole-wheat bread crumbs (I can never find these so I use panko) 2 T Dijon mustard 1 large egg white Kosher salt and black pepper 1/4 c…
