Even if you can't exercise, if your goal is to lose weight. Just continue to monitor what you're eating. Once the pounds start to fall off you'll be motivated to move a little more. I promise it is gets addictive.

You can do alternating knee lifts while you're sitting (like walking but seated) and reach with alternating arms over your head each time you lift a knee. You should eat at least some of your exercise calories. Especially if you're hungry.

I usually eat mine and experience the most weight loss when I do . I may leave a little over 100 most days but NOT a LOT.

I agree!!! 9 pounds is a LOT. You have to appreciate every single win no matter how small you think it is! I lost 4 lbs the first week then it snail to 1 pound for the 2nd and 3rd then the 4 week jumped to 3 pounds. I've lost a total of 12 lbs with MFP. ] Stay with it! and Congrats on 9lbs!

Walking is enough. Just remember that when your weight loss begins to slow down or plateau you may have to increase your mileage a little or shorten the time it takes you to do your 3 miles by a little. Walking is great!!! Good luck and Welcome to MFP!!!!
