Laughing cow has a lot of sodium as well. I think somewhere around 250mg per triangle.

Thanks for sharing. I have to try this :)

I have been eating a pack of tofu shirataki everyday since I found out about it a few weeks ago. I tried the normal shirataki and didn't like it much, but I will try dry frying them like you suggested. Thanks for sharing all of this information. I loved your writing style :)

They should have just mentioned this information in the DVD. Thanks so much for sharing!

Can you a small portion of your breakfast before the workout, and finish it after the workout?

I certainly plan on getting the most comfortable one. I am wondering if there are any that look good so that I can make sure I try them on as well. Looks is a factor, but not the most important factor.

Perhaps you need to start out small and slowly increase how much you can do. Try taking a two 10-min walks tomorrow, and then add one minute of walking each day. Best of luck. It will get better. You can do it!

Hey there, Welcome, and best of luck on your journey. You have taken the most important step - "getting started". Don't think of the total number of lbs you will have to lose since that may overwhelm you. If you want, you can friend me. Best of luck!

I have never had this problem, but perhaps you can get a treadmill and walk on it while watching TV?

Hi there, It is good to do a mix of cardio and strength. I am not a professional, but this is what works for me: - 5 days of cardio a week (1 hour every day - at least 3 zumba, and other 2: ellptical) - 2 day of strength training a week (I use free weights and do squats, lunges, sideways lunges, overhead press, bicep…

Hey there, I have lost 53lbs of weight so far. It took me 5 months to lose the first 40 lbs, and then 3 months to lose the next 13 lbs. Weight loss does slow down. It is unfortunate. But keep on doing what you are doing, and you will be at your goal weight. Remember, this is not a spring, it is more like a marathon. Best…

One thing I have realized is that any change requires longer than 15 days of commitment. Remember, as long as you are eating less than you are burning, you will lose weight. My advice is to track your food intake very carefully over the next couple of days to make sure you are actually eating less than you burn. And once…

I don't write everything in my diary ahead of time, but I usually know what I am going to eat for all of my week. This is because every morning, I drink a protein shake for breakfast. I always eat the same kind of snacks (soy nuts, nuts, jerky, greek yogurt, laughing cow), and I cook all my lunches and dinners for the week…

I went to a professional running store for the first time last week. They were able to help me pick out a shoe that felt extremely comfortable, but they didn't have it in the color I wanted, so I haven't gotten them yet. It is the Mizuno Inspire 8. The one thing I learned from going to the store is that different shoes…

Yes, if I eat in the 1200 calorie range, which is not enough for me, I feel really annoyed and frustrated with everything. I have to eat around 1450 calories a day (projected loss of 1lb/week) to be happy. I have decided that going slow and being happy is better than losing 2lbs a week and being very unhappy.
-
Extra 200 calories isn't much. Eat some high calorie foods just as nuts, nut butter, cheese etc. if you are having a really hard time keeping your calories up.
-
Your diary is not public, so I cannot see how much protein you are eating. I personally eat 100-140g of protein a day in a 1450 calorie diet, and it is what my dietician recommended, and have lost 53lbs of weight so far.

I am sorry you are going through this. The quickest way to get over him is to stop all connection with him (including reading about him on Facebook). Just do it, you will thank yourself in a few months when you are finally completely over him. Best of luck.

If you have cramps, then only do a light to moderate exercise. Heavy exercise can worsen your cramps. I usually do only 30 minutes (where normally I work out for an hour), and I keep it light. And if I am not feeling it, I skip a couple of workouts. One or two missed workouts a month will not make or break you new healthy…

Cheaters is one of those guilty pleasures - I am ashamed of enjoying it, but I do :)

Don't let them bother you. Would you rather succumb to peer pressure and gain all the weight back or continue to look as great as you do now?

I am guessing Binge Eating Disorder, but not sure.

I have been doing Zumba for the last 7 months, and have a 53 lb loss to show for it. Of course, I also count calories, strength train, get plenty of sleep and water, and walk miles every day.

I think about August (I don't know why I fixate on this particular month, but I do). What I say to myself is, come August, I could be fat, or I could be thin. August is going to come no matter what. The only thing I can control is whether I am going to be fat or thin when it does come. What can I do now that will help me…
