  • I love putting mine in a batch of taco meat with some rotel or a big batch of homemade salsa! YUMMMY!
  • My husband convinced me to stay away from things with aspartame, so I found Diet Rite and drink that rarely. When I need a carbonation fix, it does the trick. I hope it is truly what it says it is...0 calories, sodium, caffeine, sugars, no aspartame. I have done only a little research on it at this point.
  • I LOVE your profile picture!!!!!!!!
  • I remember having some of the Dan Dan Noodles, I believe the sodium was higher, but calories lower. A little spicy. Might check it out. My favorite!! ENJOY!!
  • I know I am in a similar situation, so my next focus is my Sodium intake. I REALLY have been starting on that lately and I believe it is making a difference. So much processed/pre packaged foods are very high in sodium, and low or fat free foods. When our sodium levels are too high, we then start retaining more water,…
  • I have never figured out a copy/paste method. I just pull up dinner's recent foods, select the meal, then from my Food page, select that food from Dinner section, edit it to be under Lunch instead. Hope that makes sense. Maybe there is an easier way, but that is fairly quick and simple
  • I love the Special K cracker chips. I also only eat 15 at a time. I have just tried the Pepperidge Farm Baked Naturals Cheese Crisps. Very good, 140 for 20 crackers. Not as low cal as the chips, but great flavor when you wanna mix things up!
  • HOLY COW!!! I have a TON more work to do then!! lol.
  • All very helpful information. Thanks!!! I am gradually going to start replacing some of my new favorites with lower sodium items!!
  • I have a hard time with these things too. Especially when you are trying to cook for a family in a hurry. It's one of those things I KNOW I need to change, but has not been on my front burner. Guess it's time to move it up!! One of my favorite things is sandwiches. I have found a fat free turkey, but now I need to look for…
  • I always prefer cooking that way for several reasons...Overall it's going to be less time cooking and of course CLEANING!!! Then I don't have the excuse of "convenience" on a busy day, I can just defrost and eat. I hope you like it overall and keep it up. I need to actually separate into individual meals, that's a better…
  • Thank you for adding it to the data base, I had not done that yet!! It didn't say on servings, but I think it would be great for 4-5 servings.
  • I wanted to share this website with everyone. It contains different South Beach recipes and I have already tried a few excellent ones. http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/recipecollection.html
  • Tonight I tried this recipe I found on a south beach website and thought I would share it with everyone. It was delicious!!! I added a few things for my taste. Oven-Roasted Shrimp with Pico 1 lb tomatoes, diced 1/2 onion, diced 2 limes, juiced 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced 1 bunch cilantro, chopped 1 tsp. ground cumin 2…
  • I'm sure many of you have heard of this, but I will post it anyway so you have another option besides mashed potatoes. I will post their recipe, but I honestly make it as easy as possible. I use one bag frozen cauliflower, steam it, drain, add a little bit of fat free milk, Parkay 0 calorie fat free butter spray, garlic,…
  • The Biggest Loser books I have do not have one but the South Beach book does. I will post their recipe, but I honestly make it as easy as possible. I use one bag frozen cauliflower, steam it, drain, add a little bit of fat free milk, Parkay 0 calorie fat free butter spray, garlic, salt and pepper. Always turns out great!…
  • Good luck!!! Let me know what you think. I have tons more I can share, just one at a time though, lol. It takes a while to put it on here!! There is a meatloaf recipe that is similar to that and I put it in muffin tins so it is separated into portion sizes. I do that with a LOT of different meatloaf recipes. lol. Again,…
  • I LOVE using recipes from the Biggest Loser cook books. I have honestly only had like 2 items that weren't great, but would still make them again, just not often. I will try to post one here and there to share some of my favorites. I'm sure I will know more of what I need to do when my doctor calls me back with my test…
  • Hannah, great to hear from you and of course you can be part of our group. I guess we have officially started a group!!! lol. I met with a nutrionalist like 3 years ago and I know I need to meet with one again so I can hear their suggestions. Maybe this time I will take it to heart. Sounds like you have been on the right…
  • I am also from Wichita!!!
  • It is GREAT to hear from others with similar concerns! I am honestly surprised there are no groups/threads started already. I would love it if we could just continue talking and sharing ideas/suggestions/successes. I found out I had insulin resistance about 3 years ago, started making a change, took the meds, lost some…
  • I'm glad someone has shown an interest in the mini goals. I had previously posted something about that. If you want to do something like that I would love to do that together. There are several things we can focus on and we can possibly alternate turns on picking out our focus. We can look at starting a focus on Monday for…
  • You know how some support groups on here do small weekly challenges like focusing on water, crunches, push-ups, more veggies, more fruits, etc., etc.? Anyone interested in having small focuses like this each week? Portion sizes would be a big one for me as well!!!!! :-) Let me know! Does anyone have any suggestions as to…
  • xStargazerx - Thank you for your response. I am glad to know that I am not the only one doing the P90X. I am happy to be part of this and just need to force myself to log on more often! I have been in a two week slump and have made no progress, actually have gained a few back. So I am going to readjust my attitude this…
  • Ok, so I have been away for a few days for my birthday and am ready to get to it!!! I see everyone is making progress already, way to go!! Do we have to do the P90x to be part of this??? What exactly is it? Sorry for the questions, I just thought I had better ask. Thanks.
  • I am up or any day to be weigh ins, but I like Mondays so that way I am a little more careful over the weekend!!!
  • I am definitely interested in being part of a support group to lose 20lbs by Christmas. I need that extra focus through the holidays since most people gain this time of year. Let me know what you would like to do and we can chat about it. Thanks!
  • Thanks everyone! I will try them all! I do have resistance bands, so I can get a good variety here!!!
  • Thank you all so much! I will check them out.
  • I sometimes do when I am running/jogging. Mine is towards the front of my shoulders and it feels like I need to pull my shoulders back to straighten it out and stretch it. No idea what it is from, just assumed it had something to do with the movements I used.
