Every muscle in my body is aching - including one's i didn't even know about hehe. I'm hoping to give/gain support for/from others to keep me…
  • Hi just wondering how you are getting on with the Insanity Workout? I've just completed day 2 and feel like i'm dying haha, but I really want to do this and will hopefully see great results. Am looking to keep motivated by chatting/sharing experiences etc with other people currently doing the Insanity programme xx

  • Hi welcome to the site. Apparently stress release certain hormones/chemicals into the bloodstream that makes you lay down fat in the stomach area. So maybe helping you to find ways to de-stress may help - like swimming, meditation (or sitting in a quiet room soft music playing etc) or whatever you find that relaxes your…
  • HI welcome to the site. I love this site and i find it so inspiring - it's like facebook but a healthy version hehe. Good luck with the weight loss
  • I think probably the gym membership - there's the social aspect, your friends are already members, which also adds a little healthy competition! The fact you prefer to run - you can use the treadmills inside for the cold days. There are a variety of exercises to do at the gym for toning arms and abs - the machines there…
  • Aw thanks alot everyone for all the advice. I think I will try the '30 day shred' and the walk dvd sounds good too. Going to have a look online and see which one i'll get when I get paid. 20lbs is a lot to loose, but i wouldn't mind loosing 10lbs by xmas ;-) lol :flowerforyou:
  • Hi Stephanie, Know exactly how you feel!! I fell off the wagon after only loosing 6lbs and i thought i can carry on with out tracking everyday!!! How WRONG i was, i've put 4lb of the 6lb I lost so now I have 20lb to loose also! Plus i've just started a new job - which I'm made up about as I'd been unemployed for a while.…

  • Aw try not to be so hard on yourself, you're doing really well. I do know how you feel because i have done it a few times, especially this weekend just gone (just check my diary out!). I've carried on tracking my calories and working out when i can. You're probably feel so pale and down because you're being so hard on…
  • Hi you could weigh your own portion when dried and cook it seperately if doing rice for the family so that you know exactly what it weighs. Or you could just weigh it on scales when it's cooked. I have a calorie book and in this it states that 28g (1oz) of boiled white rice is 39 calories, 0.4 grammes of fat. I find that…
  • Bump i didn't have a clue about the 'bump' it either, lol. So hopefully this will save it for me because i've bumped it. Yes it sounds great, i cant wait to try it
  • That's great and yes it is an ego boost when somebody notices you're weight loss. No one's noticed mine yet, but i've only lost 5lb so it's probably not that noticeable. Keep up the good work :flowerforyou:

  • Hi, it does sound really hard, because the more people are asking you and the more food you see it makes you feel hungry because you're thinking 'OOh that looks nice, but i can't have it because i'm dieting' then it just makes u wanna grab it and shovel it down quick!! I'm the same can only say no so many times & when it's…
  • I agree with the cup sizes also - i try to use the grammes as i've recently bought digital scales to measure food and i calculate it in grammes - i love my digital scales as it's so accurate. When i've got the money i'm going to buy digital bathroom scales too as i want my weight to be accurate also :drinker:…
  • I'm in thanks for the link
  • I agree with Viviakay, it does come in cycles, and also sometimes i think you have to something nice to eat like a 'treat' and i find it helps to keep on track. You can then say yes i've had ****** (whaterever) i've really enjoyed it and now i'll continue with the 'healthy eating'. Today i had some apple pie ( i have…
  • Hi, i was thinking that maybe as you have been working out quite regularly, the 2lb weight loss could be down to the fact that muscle weighs more than fat. So while you will be loosing body fat you will be increasing your muscle mass, so on scales you weight may not change for this reason. One way that will help you to see…
  • Thanks alot for the reply, it sounds great! As soon as i get my first paycheque i think i will be treating us to the wii - fit. It was thinking logically in my head it will work out cheaper than a gym membership everyweek and its something the kids can do with me too. They might help encourage me too, if i'm a little tired…
  • Well done, it goes to show that dedication and committment is what it takes. But doesn't it make you feel good. I was pleased to have lost 3lb yesterday (my first week at actually being determined! lol), and it does make u feel good! • Hi Shazzie, Welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll find your motivation and inspiration on this site, because i know i have. I have about 20lb to loose, but i kept yo-yoing and i came back on this site and realised i'd gained 7lb since i last logged in! So i asked a few people if they could be my friend to help motivate me…
