Aside from friends from work I really don't have many either. All the friends I grew up with married after high school and moved away and I find that the older I get the more selective I become when it comes to who I want as my friend and who I don't want.

^^ This. Just the other day while on my evening walk, I got complimented by a jogger. He said he was starting to notice a difference in my weight and size and said for me to keep it up. Then just 20 minutes later some douche bag drove by me honking his horn and whistling. I wanted to give him the middle finger.
