I have been on MFP since 2011 and have been up and down many times. I to have a sweet tooth probably more than one (haha). I just this year - a couple months ago-reached my weight goal. I finally had to give up most of the sweets I was eating and only allowing one treat at lunch time. I ate the smallest piece of Sees candy…

This is correct. Move on and forget what you did the day before.

I'm well over 60 and I am having a really hard time losing my last 10 lbs. It is hard to exercise with the joint pain I have, but I try to ride my stationary bike at least 3 times a week. I haven't been faithful at that though. If it comes off with time, I will be happy, but if not, I've at least gotten down to a…

I keep Dove dark chocolate squares on hand. They are really good and a couple of them satisfies my chocolate craving. Nothing beats having the real thing.

My Dr. told me not to worry about natural sugars in fruit. I don't have any condition that I need to watch natural sugar consumption.

I'm in the same boat as you. Haven't lost anything for a while now. One of my problems is that I don't eat enough veggies and that has been one of my problems throughout my journey. I do weigh and measure almost everything, but there has got to be something I'm doing wrong. Look at my diary which is open and feel free to…

When I realized that I was only 20lbs. away from 200lbs. That was a wake up call for me. I was determined that I was not going to reach that 200lb mark and the way I was going, it wasn't going to take long for me to get there. I stumbled upon MFP and here I am a little over 2 years later and still logging. I've had my ups…

Don't let those people get to you. You are doing this for yourself and no one else.

I do have high blood pressure which is under control with meds. I like the idea of having premeasured meals so I don't have to figure out my own only on a occasional basis. I have been stuck at the same weight for almost two month, up and down and up and down and I'm just trying to find out something that may get me losing…

I think the healthier we eat, the fartier we get. When I ate junk food most of the time, I didn't have the whisper problem. Now I do. BTW, I stay away from those Fiber One things, they kill my stomach and I bloat up like a hot air balloon. Heaven help anyone around me when I whisper!! :D

I don't plan on having WW meals as a steady diet. Just once in a while as a fill in meal. I know fresh and home prepared is much better for you but there is that time when you need something quick. Just thought if there was someone out there that had done WW full time, if they had any pros or cons about going WW on a full…

I like Great Value lite Raspberry Vinegarette Dressing. Get it at Wal-Mart. Can't remember the calorie count but it is low enough for me.

I make mine with my left over coffee brewed every morning, 1 packet splenda and 2 tbsp. Nestles original creamer. Add ice and shake it up - I really like it.:drinker:
-
I to was worried about the little bit of calories in one packet of Splenda which I use all the time. However, the amount of calories a day is so miniscule I don't worry about it at all. So enjoy your sweetner and don't worry about it.:drinker:

I like to eat a small crisp apple or 12 almonds. These really keep me satisfied until my next meal.:drinker:

Weight today May 8th - 156.8 Last Weight -159 Loss of 3 lbs I started using my BMR/TDEE correctly. I upped my exercise to between 25 and 30 minutes a day on the stationary bike. Looks like it has jumped started my weight loss again (I hope). I also weigh and measure more accurately. Goal weight is 150 lbs.

Thanks for all your advice. Just wanted to know if I was doing it right.:drinker:

Most days I'm at the 1500 mg a day or under. It's not that hard to do - watch what you eat and read labels. Prepackaged frozen meals are the worst - I only eat them once in a while. Eat a huge salad with a light raspberry vinegarette dressing or just use balsamic vinegar with a little olive oil. I've had to watch sodium…

Thank you all for your suggestions. Gonna try to put some of them in place. At the end of the week, will see how I've faired.:drinker:

Count me in. May 1, 2014 start weight 159 Goal weight150 I'm at a plateau and can't seem to get weight loss started again. Hoping this will help me.

I eat as much chocolate and cake as I want as long as it fits in with my daily counts. I have a piece of Dove dark chocolate almost every night as my after dinner treat.:drinker:

Wow - you look amazing.:flowerforyou:

Eat healthy filling foods, portion control, count the calories, keep your sodium intake low (1500mg a day is what my Dr. told me) and eat the foods you like in moderation. I love pizza and when I have it, I watch my food consumption throughout the day so I stay within my calorie counts. I also love ice cream and who…

I put a little ranch dressing on it not swimming in it though. Also a brocolli, apple, raisin and chopped celery salad with a little ranch dressing is also good. Most of the time I just eat it steamed with the ranch dressing.

I usually fix the chicken breast how I want it - then only eat half of it with a huge portion of veggies and a pretty big salad. The left over piece I put in a salad the next day for lunch. Works out well for me.:drinker:
-
I eat too much at times also but it is better to log it than not log it. I know it can be discouraging to see how many calories you have consumed, but how else are you going to keep track of your food intake. Be honest with yourself, it is the best way. Good Luck.:drinker:

I have a big bunion on the left side of my foot by the big toe and yes, it is very painful. I've asked about surgery and was discouraged as the Dr. said it would probably come back and the surgery can be very painful as well. I've been wearing the bunion pads on it that I get from the drug store or Wal-Mart and it helps…
