I know it is not easy to not worry about flabby skin, however, you are still young and your skin should have lots of elasticity left in it. Strength training will really help and a slow weight loss is the way to go. That way your skin has a chance to bounce back into shape and with time it will look a lot better. Don't…

I sometimes mix cottage cheese with my smoothies. Makes them really creamy and delicious and you don't have that cottage cheese taste at all.

I have lost some of my "turkey neck" but not all. Still working on it though - maybe it will get smaller the more I lose. If not, then I guess some type of neck exercises may help. Will have to research this though.

Well, congratulations to you for your success. 20 lbs lost is a great accomplishment. I've lost about 22 or 23 lbs. and still have some more to go before I'm where I want to be. I did this for myself and not for the compliments from others. It is my body and my health that I want to take care and I don't care what anyone…

I am 5'3" and currently weigh 164 - 70 year old female. My goal weight is 155 lbs which I weighed most of my adult life until I ballooned up to almost 190 lbs. Been on this journey for a little over a year now = my pants size hasn't changed much, down from size 18 to 16 - but I have a large stomach which I have always had…

I am a female, 70 yrs. and been doing MFP for a few months now. It has really helped me to see what I'm eating and it inspires to me keep under my calories for the day. Before when I "thought" I was dieting, I was eating everything under the sun, only smaller portions. I found out that is not the way to eat and be healthy.…

You look amazing! I started my weight loss journey in August 2011 also and to day I have only lost 22 lbs substantially less than you have. But I feel so much better and I think I look a lot better also. My Start weight was 188lbs now down to 166lbs. Goal is 155lbs so will continue to work towards that. You are inspiration…

I was surprised at how many calories a banana had. When I joined MFP, and started logging everything that passes my lips, I was shocked at how many calories I was eating every day. No wonder I couldn't lose weight. Even though I am at sort of a stand still right now, I will overcome it and keep on truckin. I have 10 lbs to…

I love the sparkling ice flavored waters - they are zero caleries. I also make lemonade with artificial sweetener and it has zero calories. I don't like plain water either, never have.

I have never looked at the chit chat section. My experience with this type of topic is that the info is useless and does not help anyone who is trying to get in shape and eat healthier. Just my own opinion. Maybe they should do away with this topic.

I'm thinking about trying the fat free or 2% evaporated milk in the can. Going to check out the calorie count next time I go to the store. I can't drink black coffee either and I tried the almond milk, didn't like it. Will have to experiment and try to find something that I like.

I mix one pouch of starkist tuna with 2 tbsp hidden valley light buttermilk dressing. Don't miss the mayo at. Slap half of it on half slice of wheat bread, add slice tomato and a lettuce leaf and you have a verry filling sandwich.
