I've had a "belly" since I was 16 yo. I am now 70 and still have it. Nothing I've done would get rid of it, so I just live with it. Love me, love my body and I love my body and will love it more when I reach my goal. Don't worry about the little pouch, it is not that bad.

I don't obsess on what size clothes I wear. I want to look healthy and be fit. Don't try to criticize yourself or you will never be satisfied with the way you look.

Tell me what you did. I want to pass this info along to my grandson who is 23 yrs old and weighs a whopping 400 lbs. I feel so sad for him and I know he doesn't feel good about himself. He does no exercise and sits around playing video games all day long. Not good. I want to help him get started so any advice you can give…

I don't have a problem with splenda - have used it every day for about 5 years and so far have had no problem. Although, maybe down the road, they will say that splenda causes cancer, who knows. In the meantime, I will continue to use splenda as my sweetner.

I put 1 tbsp peanut butter on my waffle along with 1 tbsp sugar free apricot preserves - it is really good. And I usually have a banana with it. Keeps me full until lunchtime. I usually eat breakfast around 8AM

As a lady who care if you lose the heavy weights hanging there. They are uncomfortable, wearing a bra that is the right size is hot and uncomfortable. I would rather be little than have those heavy weights hanging around my chest. Just my own opinion.:noway:

Gosh I'm 70 years old and feel it is never to old to try and be healthier. It is not easy to lose weight as you get older, but it can be done. Since Aug. 2011 I've lost 22 lbs, not a whole bunch, but enough to make me happy. I am aiming for 10 more lbs and then I will be where I want to be. I've drastically changed my…

Boy do I feel lazy. I exercise (try to) every other day because my joints won't let me do any more than this. Treadmill at the gym every other day, and if I can, ride my stationery bicycle in between visits. I'm 70 years old and I think this is enough for my aging body.

Wow - another great way to get in some veggies. Going to try these really soon. Thanks for posting recipe.:flowerforyou:

Vita Tops muffins-only 100 cal each or weight watchers ice cream sandwich in vanilla-100 cal. These are what I use as a treat for me and I allow for them in my daily calorie count.

I love mexican food too!! I usually order chicken fajitas and just eat the chicken and the veggies, leave the tortilla along. The rest is very filling for me so I don't miss the extra calories in the tortilla. Hmmm. maybe Mexican food tonight!!:drinker:

What a difference - you look amazing. Great job and keep up the good work.

I take a multiple vitamin and extra calcium (as per Dr.) for several years now. It can't hurt you and may benefit you in the long haul.

I tried the Fiber One bars and they gave me so much gas I was in agony. Felt bloated to. Don't eat them anymore. I eat Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Nut bar, Dark Chocolate, peanut & almond. Cal. 170,Sodium 135mg,Sugars 13g, protein 2g. Not a lot of protein but it keeps me satisfied between meals if I feel I need something…

I'm always looking for new ways to make chicken and this looks really yummy. Thanks for sharing your recipe and I'm going to try this very soon.:flowerforyou:

I don't care how much I lose, exercise, etc. I cannot get rid of my stomach pooch. I've always had it, even as a teenager, so I guess I was just born this way. I don't like it, but can't do anything about it. I don't obsess over it, just live with it. You should be proud of yourself for getting to where you are. Love…

Also, keep away from processed meats such as hot dogs, bologna, salami and sausages. Watch out for the frozen meals, they are loaded with sodium. Eat lots of veggies and prepare your own chicken or beef yourself and use spices to make it to your liking. Go to skinny taste website and they have tons of recipes that are…

I count EVERYTHING!! Fruits can have a lot of calories in them, depending on what you consume. A banana has 100 cal. and an apple around 80 or so. So yes, I count everything that goes into my mouth!!

This sounds so good and easy. Goint to store today and get the Angel Food Cake mix and a Lemon one which is my and my husbands favorite. Hope it turns out and I can figure out the calorie count.

Me too! I could eat it all day long!

I'm 5'4" , 70 years old and when I started MFP in Aug. 2011 I weighd in at 188 lbs. I am now down to 166lbs. and have had a few plateaus along the way. I try not to eat processed foods or to many low calorie packaged meals and I have forced myself to drink more liquid during the day. A protein shake for lunch along with…

What she said. You look amazing!!

I use a little bit of the light hidden valley buttermilk ranch dressing - just enough to add some moisture.
-
Thank you for this recipe - I saved it for future use. I love pumpkin!!

This is what I have also. Love it! I only use a couple ice cubes in my protein power drinks as I don't like really cold things in my mouth due to sensitivity in teeth. It does the job for me.
