I suffer from migraines triggered by perfumy smells, I have been prescribed Sumatriptan by the doctor which is the only thing that will shift it.

I am also a self employed artist, so spend much of my time sat at my desk drawing. I have set myself as sedentary, and the only thing I log as actual exercise is my running. I don't log my kettlebell workouts, I don't even log walking the dog unless it's a very long walk, much less logging trivial things like cleaning. The…

I'm 5'8" and currently 137lb, down from a starting weight of 168. My goal was 140, now is 135, though I'm not trying as hard to loose weight now as I am pretty much happy with where I am.

I wasn't going to run last night as it was so hot, but I decided to run to the sea front, swim in the sea, then run home wet. It was really nice!
-
I log my running, but don't log my kettlebell workouts as there's no sure way of knowing how many calories strength training actually burns.
-
It depends on whether I actually want it or not. If I do, I either fit it into my calorie allowance, work it off, or not worry about it for one day. A lot of the time it's something I can't actually have anyway (lactose intolerance).
-
SPIbelt, I've tried all sorts of things, but I love these!

I'm the only one dieting in our household, my husband and two kids still eat sweets and ice cream, and other nice things. I just want to be thinner more than I want to eat those things, so I don't eat them, not even when someone offers me something.
-
I had that injury where the muscle came away from the bone in my left shin, it forced me to take off over two months of running, not nice. That was caused by me running through the pain, thinking it would go away, so don't ever do that!

BodyFit by Amy on Youtube.

I like to run in the evening, always have done, always will. For some reason running in the morning seems so much harder.

I'm 5'8", I started in January at 168lb, currently at 139lb. My goal was originally 140, but now it's 135. I didn't diet as such, I still ate normal food, just less of it. I do running three times a week and kettlebells three times a week.

Check out BodyFit by Amy on Youtube, she's just had a baby so she's got some prenatal and postnatal fitness videos to follow.
-
I don't log my kettlebell workouts either for the same reason. The only thing I log is my run, because I know roughly how much that burns.
-
It depends, I don't bother logging cups of coffee and I don't bother logging a handful of nuts or a couple of boiled sweets. Everything else I log. I'm set at 1200 calories a day but I don't weigh my food, so non of my logging is accurate, I know I actually consume more than 1200 which is why it's set so low. I have lost a…

The class is an instructor leading a 45 minute workout split into three sections. She has music playing and she mixes the workout up each time, I absolutely love it. It's a lot harder than the videos too!

Sorry for late reply, only just seen this. I run three times a week and I do kettlebells three times a week, a proper class once a week, and the other two times following BodyFit by Amy on youtube. I use a 8kg and a 12kg(when I started I was just using a 6kg but quickly progressed).

Yes I am, alongside running. Have got really good results from doing kettlebells so far!
-
Yes it is, you have average speed, maximum speed and minimum speed.
-
Yes I'm a pet portrait artist. Here's a coloured pencil drawing I did of my dog.
-
I've been on 1200 calories since January and lost 28lbs doing it (a pound a week). I keep it strictly that low as I don't weigh my food, and I don't count things like coffee, so I probably take in more calories than I record, but it works for me.
-
Hiya, yes I use MapmyRun. I don't know how to find you on there, I tried searching your username but couldn't find you. If you search my username, you should find me though.

My feet kept going numb when running until someone told me it was because my shoelaces were too tight. I changed the laces to elastic ones which solved the problem straight away!
-
Thank you all so much for the support, you are all awesome!
-
Yes she does, as well as an instructional video on how to do a kettlebell swing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjA-JKoTPJM&list=PLMHMyl3oeyh1zWX_45mwhUyY31o2yYwd2&index=14

I took up kettlebells 8 months ago, I love them! I do them three times a week, a proper kettlebell class on a friday, and following BodyFit by Amy workout on youtube at home the other two times. Kettlebells have made a huge difference to my strength. Make sure you have the correct form though, especially swinging as you'll…

I'm 5'8, I started in January at 168lb, currently just half a pound over my original goal of 140lb, though now I want to keep going to 130/135.

Look up the kettlebell workouts by BodyFit by Amy on youtube, I love her workouts. I go to a KB class once a week, but the rest of the time I follow those workouts at home.
