I could eat hot cheetos nonstop, or until I fry my taste buds off. Those things are nasty though! One of those tiny bags is 2 servings equaling almost 400 calories and that is only 2 ounces or something. So now i just don't buy them and keep healthier snacks at home so I don't go cruising for cheetos.

I'm already your friend but I have the last 15 pounds to go and it is hard! Your body doesn't really want to give it up. You're an inspiration and i wish I could go snowboarding with you!

I guess on her radio show she said not to do the shred everyday so I try to do it every other day and mix in other exercise. Works for me because all that jumping really hurts my knees

There is a lot of us! I am getting married September 2nd and i would love to lose the last 15 pounds. I tried on wedding dresses yesterday and I was just stoked they all fit! Haven't found my perfect one yet

I was feeling sick too so I stayed in bed, next day I was feeling better so I biked and walked my dog and BOOM sickness is back and worse. Not making that mistake again, just rest for now and it will go away faster. All your energy is going to fighting the virus. I am just trying to stay in my calories.

I'm also on the 22nd!

Like has been mentioned before, if you are still watching what you eat you will lose weight. When I started trying to get rid of the weight I was put on Effexor and the depo shot, both of which are "suppose" to cause weight gain. Really though, if you don't watch what you eat then you will gain weight. I continue to lose…

bump! thanks!

I got it for Christmas too and I am super curious. I figure i probably won't lose weight but it's not a bad thing to tone and do other exercises on the same day.

I am up four pounds after vacation and holidays :(. The olivia method didn't fail, I did! Oh well, I just remind myself that I am still 10 pounds down from this time last year so that is still a win in the long run. Good luck everyone!
-
I also gained more than 6 pounds over the last week and i didn't feel as if I stuffed myself every minute. I love this post though because I am feeling seriously guilty and gross but you are so right in that this is still over 10 pounds lighter than last year and I know how to fix it!

Awesome job!

EdDavenport, you are an inspiration and you should look in to talking to those with type 2 diabetes because we can harp at them all day but they need to hear from someone that has been through it.
-
I certainly am not recommending a diet high in carbs. I always recommend more vegetables and protein and if they are going to eat carbs to go for lower carbohydrate options and sugar free options. We send a lot of our patients to a diabetes clinic where they learn about carb counting and how many carbohydrates they should…

you mentioned rice cakes, have you tried the flavored ones? There are some sour cream and onion ones that are amazing and only 70 calories for 10!

come on! There has to be someone! There are over a million people in San Diego!

So I am a nurse getting my masters to be a nurse practitioner and worked with hundreds of diabetics over the last couple of months. There are two things that are recommended, first is to lose weight because the adipose (fat) tissues leads to more glucose tolerance, the second part is carb counting, especially for those…

Have to admit, I haven't been dancing as much because I started the 30 day shred and I am so damn tired afterward. I did buy the JD 3 and it's pretty awesome but you're right, the britney knock offs are horrible.

I use a heart rate monitor but some of the my other friends log it as circuit training

Current job: New graduate RN looking for my first RN job and working on my masters Dream job: Nurse practitioner- half way there!

San Diego! I love my beautiful weather and how I can always get out to exercise! Would LOVE to move to the bay area though

30 day shred! or other jillian michaels DVDs, they are pretty cheap. Do you have a wii or xbox? I love just dance 2 and 3 for the wii. I can't afford a gym either so these are what I have been doing.

Diet is important with cholesterol but so is exercise! I can't even tell you how many patients I have seen that had a noticeable difference in their cholesterol just by adding some daily exercise. So do both!
-
p90x looks way more intense. I have been doing the 30 day shred and it's hard at first but it gets easier and I've been losing weight and lots of inches. Plus it's only 10 dollars!
-
You look amazing! Good job buddy!
-
Mmm I want to remember that recipe above! I love cottage cheese and my usual way of eating it is with salsa mixed in.
-
Yes I do notice a difference, MFP way over states the amount of calories I apparently burn so I just wear the HRM whenever I am exercising, it's not a super fancy one but I figure at least I am not eating those extra calories that MFP says I am burning when I am not.

I put stevia or some other sugar replacement on them and eat them with a graprefruit spoon, makes it slightly sweeter and they take awhile to eat
-
So far I am just wearing the bigger clothes with belts. I know it's not that flattering but, like you, I can't affoard a new wardrome at every loss. I am going to try to keep doing this for as long as possible and then go look at marshal's and ross. I also hear from a friend that worked at American eagle that if you bought…

You hit on what I would do, exercise more in preparation and then just keep everything else to a small amount and eat lighter during the day.
