1. You are worth the extra work it takes to eat healthy and exercise 2. Don't fill yourself with bad thoughts, if you wouldn't say it to a friend, then why say it to yourself 3. log, log, log 4. ask for help/advice 5. it's ok to have a bad day, learn from it and move on 6. it's f'ing hard work but so worth it 7. NEVER give…

To be honest about it I never even look at the net calories. I eat my daily goal of calories and workout and am consistently losing. Why toss in something else to worry about?

Follow your doctor's advice and stop. Why go if you don't want to listen to what they say? The alternative is to blow out your knees and be down for months instead of the few weeks it takes to heal.

The combinations are endless: Orang soda with orange cake Straweberry soda/strawberry cake Ginger ale/chocolate cake Cherry Cola/Chocolate cake Ginger ale/spice cake.... Just take any of your favorites and add...also angel food cake mix and just about any soda (diet)...

Kettlebells are great. You really need to watch your form though. If you don't take the time to do it right you could really hurt yourself. 10 pounds is a great starter weight. Take your time doing the exercises, it's not a marathon. If you get too much "swing", once again you can easily injure yourself. Good luck.

Not to sound *****y or rude, but that weights seems rather low. I checked several weight charts and even if you're small boned you should be in the 110 range. Sounds to me like you need to be eating more...

I think people are their own biggest obstacles. We can self doubt ourselves silly...Someone once told me, when you start to think negative thoughts, ask yourself, would you say those things to your best friend? Most of us wouldn't, so why do we say them to ourselves? GREAT post!! Thanks for sharing..

Thanks for the heads up. Sorry they were so rude to you!! Congrats on the weight loss to date. Looks like you are doing well. You WILL be fine..

Keep up the good work. Instead of relying solely on the scale you might take some measurements. For some this seems to be a better gauge to measure your progress.

I've gotten to the point that I'm not so much worried about the calories but just trying to eat the right stuff and eat only when hungry. Somedays I eat past my calories by 100-200 or somedays I eat under. For me not a big deal. As long as I'm staying with in a range, working out, eating healthy and losing, I'm not going…

I so totally agree with this. It's like "fat" predudice is acceptable. It's not PC to mention skin color, race, sexuality, but so different for "fat/overweight" people.

I have no words!! AMAZING and you so ROCK dude.....Keeping my fingers crossed you find your "love" again. :)

Gin and Tonic can be anywhere from 120-170 calories depending on size and such. Not sure how many you are having extra week but it will add up at those calories.

From the Biggest Loser cookbook. Microwave a sweet potato, break open and melt a wedge of skinny cow cheese or WW cheese on top.

Breakfast Casserole: Egg Beaters Low Fat Cheese Vegetable Low Fat Sausage/Bacon Mix all together and back in the ove at 350 for about 30-40 minutes. I make a big pan and have it for the week. Add some salsa on top and you have a healthy and filling breakfast.

WOW, great job....I'd love to know how you did it...AMAZING..

I've figured that the calories given on here are a big high. So I never eat all of my calories back.
-
No worries. I did too...It's all a learning process..

Thank you.

Thanks. This totally helps me. I've been logging it wrong all along. THANKS.

House cleaning is part of your every day life. Don't log housecleaning as exercise. Exercise as already stated is going to the gym, walking, weights etc.

I'm using the settings on this site under exercise.

Since coming on here and using this site, it's amazing how less fast food I eat. Just cause the fat, salt and calories are OUT of control.
-
I make quinoa and add onions, tomatoes, peppers/chilis and turkey meat. A kind of a Mexican meal...YUMMY..

If it's bad enough that you can't run or walk without pain you should see a doctor. I tried to push through some calf pain once and ended up tearing the tendon. That took me out for a few weeks and was so not worth it..
-
I add salsa to mine along with avocado..Yummy..

I'm in..

Carrots are REALLY good in Carrot Cake.. ] just sayin'..

Totally agree. It's not sustainable to totally skip on your favorite foods. We put so much guilt on ourselves when we eat what we want. Eat what you want, but in moderation and make adjustments. Have a light breakfast and then eat your pizza. No worries.

NO worries, my first time too....I'm thinking walking tomorrow is going to be a challenge. as I also have an hour work out with a trainer today...
