Thanks for the support.

So sorry for your loss. There are no words to express how sad I am for you. I know how devastating it seems to be losing your mother. I too went through the sleepless nights. When my mom was in the hospital I was so afraid of getting a late night call that I just never went to sleep. Now I'm back on a normal sleeping…

Amazing how people are making comments about the book and haven't even read it. I've read it and there are parts that make perfect sense. Not everyone is the same, so what works for some folks will not work for others. People need to do what's right for themselves.

I started it about a week ago and notice a big difference is how I feel. People really should read the book, it's pretty eye opening and explains how the grains that our grandparent used are not the grains that we have access to today. PM me and I can explain more about it. It sounds hard to do but it's not really.

Thanks so much for the advice/thoughts. I appreciate it.

Sorry you're having a bad day!! One day or one meal is not going to set you back. It's a bunch of bad days/meals back to back that is going to derail you. Concentrate on tomorrow and trying to fix the work issue.

WOW and WOW to the tenth degree....You look great!! Congrats on you getting healthy!!

WOW, I so needed this today. My progress has been so slow but at least steady. So I know it can be done.... THANKS.....

This so sounds like me. I've got about 100 to lose but am on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine as well. I am so good at most everything I do, why for the life of me I can't get this weight under control...it drives me crazy. I'm recovering from a broken back so exercising does me in. I'm still do it, much lighter…

My yearly physical revealed high blood pressure and high cholesterol, the bad kind...So It really freaked me out.....heart issues run in my family so I want to get healthy.....

Feel free to add me.. .Need to get in shape for the zombie apocalypse. Gotta be the fastest runner around, or at least faster than someone. Anyways, as you can tell I'm a Walking Dead fan and figure you got have some humor in life, right? Like everyone else on here I need some help staying motivated. Feel free to…

AZ here too....Must be something in the air today. I'm feeling overwhelmed too......Trying to get back in the groove but finding it very hard. Had a bad accident last year and it really derailed my progress. Before then I was on MFP for 6 months and had lost 60 pounds, 30 of which I've gained back....I was in the hospital…

I'm guessing that since you posted this here you really aren't thinking about quitting but really just venting. We all have bad days and feel like tossing in the towel. But you know what, you would be quitting on yourself. You should be your biggest cheerleader. You are worth the extra effort it takes to stay on point.

Totally agree. I was hiking in 113 degree weather here in AZ and was totally fine. Just takes you body some getting used to.

Look for G2 in the Gatorade section. Lot's of different flavors.
-
Just did this yesterday with a can of tuna....Same ingredients...tasted yummy..

I hike a lot around Arizona and sometimes would get the worst headache afterwards. Turns out I was dehydrated and water wasn't doing it for me. So now I take G2 which is Gatorade Lite basically...Love it and it really helps get everything back in balance....

WOW, great NSV!!! Congrats..

I've been having back issues so I ended up getting shots in my back, which requires me to lay on my stomach and get the shots. I was wearing shorts as it's been hot here in Arizona. So when the doctor was done the two nurses are cleaning off the injection spots and putting some bandaids on. One of them was like "are you a…

Good luck to you. You're going to do great! Just protect the back. : )

I can feel your pain. Literally. I too have back issues and feel like Wonder Woman some days and other days just can't do it. I work my butt off, hard and then all it takes it one wrong lift, squat...whatever and I'm down and out for the count. So my advice, don't push it. Tell your trainer you need to strenghten your back…

GREAT JOB !!! THANK you for setting a great example.

I don't always log ahead but if I'm going out I do. It helps plan my meals for restaurants. Just make sure that if you stray off of your preloaded plan to adjust or your calorie count will be wrong.
