Good morning everyone. I'm back after being gone for awhile. My life since August has been some of the hardest times for me ever. My mom was really sick for most of August and then the first week of September she died. One weekend she was hiking the Grand Canyon, the next weekend she was on life support and the doctors…

Re-introduction
Oh where to start....I was on MFP October 2012-April 2013 and I had lost 60 pounds in that time. I was doing awesome at eating healthy and working out. Then at the end of April last year I had an accident and broke my back. I was in the hospital for two weeks and couldn't walk. There went the end of eating healthy and…

Advice/Support Needed-broken back...
So I started my journey here on MFP back in October. I as of today am a 56 pounds lost. About 2 and a half weeks ago I broke my back. So working out as hard as I was is out of the question for awhile. The eating healthy won't be an issue but I'm really nervous about the lack of being able to work out. I don't want to lose…

Walking vs Treadmill
Just wondering how others note this under exercise. If I do 55 minutes on the treadmill I get a TON more calories than if I walk at the same pace. I noted under the exercise when you search for treadmill it comes up with stair-treadmill ergometer. Is that just a normal incline treadmill? Just want to make sure I am…

Exercise and Extra Calories
Ok, working out today I stumpled across a thought. : ) When you do your goals, figuring out your calories and add in the cardio, you get a certain amount of darily calories based on weight, cardio etc. So if I do my say 30 minutes of cardio do I add that in under the exercise tab? Cause if I do it gives me extra calories.…

Too much exercise? Too many calories left over?
Sigh, I so need help here. I love working out. So some days I will have anywhere from 400-1100 calories left over for the day on MFP. I know the calories given on MFP for exercise are a bit much, so how many calories of those earned through exercise do I need to eat back? In the last 30 days I've lost only 3 pounds. So I'm…

Exercise Calories earned-eat or ignore
At the end of the day I usually have anywhere from 400-800 calories left over from exercising. I don't eat them but just ignore them. For the last 3 weeks I've been at the same weight and I'm thinking maybe I'm not eating enough. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am eating my required calories, just…

HELP needed
Just got back from the podiatrist and I am in a boot for the next three weeks. I do cardio everyday for an hour. I need to rest my foot or face surgery. Does anyone have any suggestions for cardio exercises, not using my feet? I want to keep up my momentum but don't want to have to do surgery...

I started on Monday so am really new to all of this. I have been eating my calories, but not eating the calories burned by exercise. Should I be eating those added calories.
