Yes nutritionally wise they have benefits, But much research show the effect simple carbs have on our body, So I prefer to stay away. I really don't want to spike my blood sugar and risk storing fat over a potato. Plus I really do refer sweet potatoes there so much yummier and there complex carbs win win for me

I love turkey mince, I get turkey thigh mince, A great burger recipes is get your mince mix it together with cropped jalapenos, cropped onion, some bread crumbs(optional) and abit of ground cumin. Amazing burgers and also replace the burger bun for lettuce leaves, Soooo yummy

It does count, I dont drink plain water much because its horrible so I drink flavoured sparkling water, I also drink tea because that also count, there are some nice herbal teas out there

Dont worry, each pound of fat is 3500 cals so in order to gain a pound you'd have to over eat by 500cals a day to gain a pound, so whatever your bmr is you times that by at least 1.2(thats for a lazy lifestyle) then whatever that leaves you with you'd have to eat 500more cals a day

I have friends that log things like food prep and there doing really well in their diets and are nearly at there goal, so I guess it doesnt go for everyone, after all diet is the main factor while dieting so aslong as someones eating clean a few cals in food prep doesnt really matter

I personally dont do it but somedays I spend 20mins cooking and others I spend 2 hours so I can understand why some ppl might do it, its just not nice for the ppl who do it to read this and its just belittling them in a place where they need support
