Peanut butter - blech! I can only eat it on carrots and maybe celery, but do NOT like candy bars with it! YUCK-O! For protein I eat cheese sticks!

That was MY thought exactly! They always say on pain meds bottles to take it with a glass of water because the #1 cause of headaches is dehydration. Keep up with the water...

I am a teacher - 32 years now. I am married - 30 years now. I have a daughter - 27, married, lawyer, but not making much money in this horrid economy. When she has a case near us, she stays with us. I have a son, 25, unmarried, scientist in a laboratory at a food prodcution company where he makes and tastes different…

THAT'S what I did yesterday after the calisthenics! Maybe I can combine them again, today!

I will have to break it up. I tried to do jumping jacks a fw days ago and barely lasted a minute...being 55, overweight, and out of shape is tough. But the last tw0 days I jogged/walked a twelve minute mile each day!

I was on Lexapro too, and couldn't lose weight. In fact I gained 50 pounds in two years. Now I am on Pristiq and doing MUCH better.

I, too, am able to wear "old" clothes. It's like finding a whole new closet and wardrobe! If you feel great, then FEEL GREAT!!! Don't let others bother you!

That would be me! No shakes, no fancy drinks, no pills, no liquid diets, no purges, no gym membership, no workout video, no exercise classes, etc. I walk a half mile at a time. Our school has a program. So far I've walked 160 miles and lost 16 pounds. So, I figure I lose a pound for every ten miles! I also watch what I eat…

Every ten days, on my ten (10, 20 30, 40) day! It gives me time to see a difference!

Miralax helps, too, and your pharmacy prbably has it in a generic form. Hot liquids do something to stimulate the bowels, which is one of the reasons nursing homes serve coffee to their residents a lot. My husband swears by Mountain Dew. He says if he drinks too much it acts like Drano! ;-P:laugh:

In no particular order: My COusin Vinnie, 48 Days, Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood, The Blind Side, and Field of Dreams - but there are som many more. I love it when the underdog comes out on top!

I actually try to eat about 150 calories below my target amount in case my exercise calories are wrong. I've been told that MFP isn't quite accurate on the calories for many of the exercises. If the red warning comes up I try to eat something healthy, like an apple, with natural sugars that will dissipate easily.

7 or 8 p.m. but I drink lots of tea and water after that!

Get lean meats, lettuce, low fat cheese and make great sandwiches! Make spaghetti with tomato sauce with your own spices added instead of all of theirs. I eat a lot of venison (my family hunts) so that is lower in cholesterol and fat. Drink lots of tea. I eat fresh veggies whenever possible such as mushrooms, green…

Niacin - get the flush free kind - is a natural B vitamin - which fights cholesterol and triglycerides. I take 1000 mgs every day. I also take a magnesium/Vitamin D/Calcium tablet, 1000mg fish oil, all as rec. by my doctor. I take a multi vitamin, too.

I only weigh in every ten days in order to see a difference. Every day would drive me NUTSO! I'm 5'5" and weighed 204, so I think these first twenty were easy ones. Now that I'm at 184, I know I'm still overweight, but I know it's going to come off slower. I'm trying to be realistic AND healthy. I believe that I have a…

If it's from Keurig, I'd say yes, because you'd count a bottle of water you put a packet of powder into to flavor it. Same thing in my eyes!

Too much seafood causes some serious issues - also, I've just had the flu for going on four days now - farts are not to be trusted!

I have a cat named Joy who goes to school. I think she and Zoe are "sisters!" She has a chocolate milk mustache and chin!

He was the basketball coach and I was the cheerleading advisor. Back when schools could afford busses for teams AND fans, as well as cheerleaders, we chaperoned the bus together. After one tournament, due to poor weather conditions we left before the last game, and we got back WAY early. We had to hang around until the…

I am a teacher, too. With after school meetings, union activities, etc I am usually too tired to work out. I find with MFP that if I want to eat more than 1210 (my count) I need to exercise to earn it. I've lost 20 pounds in three and a half months, with another 35 to go. I walk 1/2 mile every recess I can. I find I am…

Hmmm...jealousy makes people say strange things. My BMI says I'm obese, yet I see people my size that are way bigger, so if I'm obese what are they? I think our society first labels people overweight and unhealthy pretty quickly. Secondly, I think that those of us who are doing something about becoming more healthy know…

It's about how you feel on the inside, too! Keep your chin up and think, "I'm making myself better - a little bit every day!"
-
Definitely! I try to walk two to four times a day, at ten to forty minute intervals. With MFP I have also been watching how much I eat, too, of course. I blew out my knees (two years apart) and walking is about as active as I get. I don't want to jog too much until I lose another 10 - 15 pounds because otherwise I'm afriad…

i minute of belly dancing and "wood" - hmmm.....

Absolutely not! When I get them I can barely walk - very slowly. Mine are so bad, I can't even lay down or sit down. At best I can lean gently against a cool window with my forehead resting gently. I now wear mouth guards at night - like athletes get, and my migraines are basically gone!
