  • Hi. I use an elliptical for 20 minute workouts and burn 250 according to the machie and 330 or so according to MFP. Of course I like MFP's take on it better) My wife gets mad at me cause I don't walk with her but I like to get it over with a little quicker and burn double the calories of walking briskly for 40 minutes.…

  • If you just look at the simple science and by no means am I an expert, I would guess that you need to try to keep the input the same as the calories that you use in your daily activity life.   • I would start with 30 mins of cardiac daily and use "myfitnesspal" to closely monitor caloric intake. It is science....intake less calories and burn unwanted fat. Good luck!!!

  • Awesome! Welcome! I have struggled since about 25. I am now 37 and have about a week under my belt with this program and loving it. 272 down to 264! There has never been an easier way to count calories. Good luck guys and enjoy!
