My reccommended is 1200, and I noticed this too. I think it's because the system is made that no one should eat below 1200, so even if you get close, it'll set it off. I see it as this-one day I may go over 50 give or take, the next I may go under give or take. Just make sure you're eating enough!

A lot of my local Mexican resturaunts (in the midwest, so there's a LOT of them) usually have something like a grilled chicken tortilla-it consists of grilled chicken, cabbage, a bit of light sour cream. And most places will give you fruit in place of rice and beans. It's surprisingly filling and yummy!

Aww I like this story! So many little girls that are overweight are taught an unhealthy view on weight loss (I was one of them). I'm so glad she found a way to be healthy and have fun!!

Yep. Went over, today by 54. :[ Low cal meals: 40 cal hot dogs in 45 cal bread with mustard, ketchup, or pico. Baked chicken+steamed veggies+brown rice Tuna with a little light mayo+celery+dill Hot tea! Drink lots of water. I'm amazed what a difference in can make!!

As others said, they are definitely guidelines. I'm 5'1, a few years ago I got down to 125, and was TINY TINY...originally when I saw my doctor a year earlier at 135 she told me to aim for 112. o.o

I get wasabi peas. Not the best, but you can have a 1/3rd cup for 130 cal! I just use the regular and use half what I normally would. I have used either fat free or low fat half and half (I can't remember what it said on the box...I remember it was like 10 cal/tbsp though) and that with splenda it did the trick. I don't know why I started being lazy...xD

Working on this myself. A nice no-caffeine tea helps. And just keep yourself busy till bed...take a bath, clean something, paint your nails...and if all else fails, chew on a straw. It'll satisfy that urge to chew. :D
