Bump. Thanks!

My favourite is a huge bowl of vegie soup with chickpeas and lentils in it. I make it on water, powdered chicken stock, tinned tomatoes, dried red lentils and a tin of chickpeas and then throw in whatever vegies I can find. It's really low in cals and you can use it to help "fill up". I find I can usually have a bowl or…

Search google for shin splint stretches. There are some specific ones which are really good. Do these, be gentle on yourself and work your way into it, they'll be gone in no time!

Dear Dave, Thanks for the reminder. It was much needed. Namaste, Val

Dear sister-in-law, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Have you ever considered that my reactions and actions are a flow on effect from yours? Have you ever considered that it might be you who is the problem here, not someone else? It would be really appreciated if you could stop making assumptions and keep your opinions to…

I  yoga, I think twice a week gets more benefit but once a week is enough to still get benefit from it. For your neck, try a different pillow :)

I'm no expert but I've heard MFP overestimates on calories burned too, so I always halve the amount it suggests for me to get my "buffer"!!

Try http://jog.fm/ I love it

Take it back - shouldn't be doing that. Mine works perfect no matter what.

@PedmomJill - thanks! Your words are spot on too! Hope you have a great day

I haven't been through this before, so you can totally ignore my comments if you feel they are out of line. I'm truly only trying to help. I know you feel like you're in a really bad place at the moment, but have you considered the thought that maybe the relationship possibly wasn't a healthy one and in the long run that…

I only just got it two weeks ago. I've lost 3 kgs in that time but I've been really tight on my diet and working out vigorously at least 60 minutes a day. Only just stopped spotting - hope it doesn't come back. Maybe do some more research before you decide?

Maybe think about it as a life long goal as wanting to take care of yourself? Set yourself a longer goal to reach and then reward yourself when you stick to it. I'm no expert by any means and I'm not at goal yet, but I've realised there are so many reasons to try and be healthy - after all, it's number one. If you don't…

A lot of hard work!! I'm on day 22 - second day of level 3 and it's killer. Well worth it though, I'm feeling fantastic and I'm really noticing a difference in my body.

I've been there, on and off for about ten years. I was against meds for so long but things got bad for me so I finally went to the dr's and got some meds - I now feel like a new woman. I have gone from a couch potato to exercising for an hour every day. I'm committed to losing my excess kilos and am watching my food intake…

Can't watch Super Size Me without watching the doco Fat Head - a view from a different perspective - and a word of warning, sorry, it's negative towards Super Size Me so don't watch it if Super Size Me did good things for you!

Hi, I'm 35 and from Wollongong - feel free to add me. I'm doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred at the moment - don't have any Michelle Bridges ones yet :)

Congratulations! You look amazing. I have also gone up and down over the years and this time I'm hoping to keep the weight off once I hit goal. I hope to keep logging onto MFP everyday to keep myself accountable. You look fantastic  PS, love your hair the new colour!

Hi, I'm on about the same day as you. I was thinking about trying the C25K as I'm not much of a runner. Would love to be able to run 5K! I must try the others suggested as well!

I never used to but I've just watched the fat head movie on you tube and it's totally changed my way of thinking. I'll be tossing the bread for sure now :)

I'm in the same boat. Once you have gained/lost weight a few times and also breastfed two kids - hoisting your boobs up from your navel is nothing. Buy some lovely supportive push up bras and keep moving on!

Here's my whine (hope it helps by getting it off my chest): I'm tired; I don't like my job; I don't have enough money; I'm not losing weight fast enough for my liking (I'm impatient); I'm working really hard but only my hubby has noticed the results so far; My kids are driving me nuts! I love them so much but man, are they…

It's really cool, hey!

I'm not sure that this fully answers your question, but my view is: there's no harm in treating yourself to a monetary reward - it makes you feel great to work hard for something and then get yourself something you desire for achieving one of your goals. I am aiming my rewards at fitness based things to help me on my get…

No, but I've heard of it. Is it any good?

So now you know - there are heaps of people on MFP doing a 30 day shred challenge in November. I'm on day 4 today and am just being able to walk again haha!

Congratulations! Awesome job :)
