I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow. Friday seems to be the best day for me. Monday was getting me too discouraged

I'm Heidi. Age 44 currently 150 lbs. I've been doing good since Monday so I will say 150 is my starting weight. I joined another group a month ago called Starting Over for people unmotivated to stick with this, unfortunately everyone became unmotivated again. Having the support of like minded people does help.

I have decided to measure myself today. I feel like I am active but the food/beer continues to be an issue. My weight does not seem to be changing much so I'm hoping my body is and by seeing a change in measurements each month I will have something to stay focused on

My challenge is to be under my calorie goal every day but I am open to any sort of other challenge to get me focused

A friend of mine posted this on fb. I can't send the picture but it basically says "Don't drink your calories" 8oz oj-110 calories + mocha coffee- 400 calories + 20 oz soda- 200 calories+ 16oz fruit juice-230 calories + 16oz sweet tea- 100 calories + 12 oz beer- 150 calories TOTAL 1370 calories!!! I got home last night about 7:00 and hadn't done any cardio so I thought about going in to watch TV but then I thought of this challenge and walked around my neighborhood for 20 minutes. Thank you for keeping me motivated

I am faithful with the 8 glasses a day. I highly recommend getting one of those plastic cups with lid & straw (Available everywhere like Walmart & Target) Carry it with you at all times and when it is empty fill it. I also buy the Mio water flavoring at the grocery store. It makes water more exciting. Down side to all this…

I agree the lower weight is frustrating too. For a person 5'2, I should weigh 118 according to the charts. I was 145 today. That makes me official on the over weight/obese line although you would not think that if you saw me.
