  • Like you, I used to just give up and say that I already ruined it. However, one day, a friend of mine reminded me that just because you tripped down a couple steps in a staircase doesn't mean that you should just give up and throw yourself down the remaining stairs! Another similar one is, just because you drop your cell…
  • I currently have 2 options in my head: 1. Grilled Chicken with BBQ Sauce, Steamed Broccoli, & Buttered Noodles 2. Papa Johns :-)
  • Bump to try later
  • I was actually just looking up info an considering starting this program. How long is the first day dvd?
  • Evenings while watching TV. I just save some calories for that time. I eat things like wheat thins & laughing cow cheese, fruit/veggies, baked scoops & shredded cheese, apples & pb, etc. I usually save about 300 calories and just eat my planned snack. If I don't have calories left (which is occasional since I plan for it),…
  • Couple things: Stop doing a cleanse. You don't need to do a cleanse to lose weight. And you also don't need to be miserable to lose weight. Headaches and crankiness are not the way to go! We have similar stats and I am eating around 1500 calories per day. It sounds like weird advice if you haven't read up on BMR and TDEE,…
  • I don't have any fantastic advice, but I just wanted to post in case other people did have advice and encourage you to keep going! I have lost motivation more times than I can count. Sometimes it is only for a day or two and I get back on track. At one point, I lost motivation for a couple years, gained 50 pounds (after…
  • Ideally, I would LOVE to lose 40 by the second week in July. I guess that means I would like to lose 30ish by June and would be happy with whatever happens beyond that.
  • Cheese, turkey sausage, salsa, mushrooms, any veggies
  • Yea, this advice wouldn't fly in my house. I pay for the groceries, do most of the grocery shopping, and the majority of the cooking. I buy and cook what I want, although I include things I know he likes. (For instance, buffalo chicken lasagna is lower calorie and one of his favs.) However, if he wants crap and through out…
  • It's not truly about the last 10 or 20 pounds. If someone has their goal set higher in their healthy range or even above their healthy range, then the statement usually isn't true. It's the people that set their goals lower in their healthy ranges that usually have this problem. You lose slower when you have less to lose.…
  • Does this mean you have stopped losing? Or just that your weight loss has slowed down? I can't see your food diary, so I can't give specific advice. However, it could be a whole list of things.... You may try switching up your exercises. I'm not saying that you now have to work out for 2 hours. I'm just saying that it…
  • I had never heard of this, so OF COURSE, I had to go straight to the Panera site and see it! The Panera near me opened about a month ago. I normally get the power salad there because I LOVE it! However, you are right, it's odd that they would have a menu they don't advertise.
  • 2 Servings of Black Bean Enchillada Casserole... for 382 calories. Soooo yummy!
  • I lost 67 pounds in 2009ish on Weight Watchers. I gained about 50-55 of that back before I caught myself. Now, this time around I've lost almost 20. It does seem A LOT harder this time. Successes don't feel as frequent. And it doesn't seem to be happening as quickly. But i'm sticking to it and hoping to lost about 40 more…
  • I'm 29. I'm be 30 in one 9 days though! Anyhow, I work full time for a non-profit that requires me to work a lot more than 40 hrs per week including evenings and weekends. I'm on my 3rd class of 14 for my MBA. I've been steadily losing weight. And I have a family, including a 4 year year old. I wouldn't say there is any…
  • Oh, and I cook it whole bc I broke 2 knives trying to cut the first one I ever had in half. I used to always put it in the oven for an hour. I didn't poke it with a fork when I did it in the over. However, in the microwave, I still throw it in whole, but poke it with a fork now. After about 10 minutes, I take it out, cut…
  • I make turkey meatballs with sauce and eat it over spaghetti squash. I also love spaghetti squash au gratin. Its a great replacement for hashbrown casserole.
  • 1. Make sure 1500 calories is what you should be eating to lose weight. I am not in the habit of telling people they are doing it wrong, but if you aren't confident of your 1500 goal, get some expert advice. 2. If the 1500 is correct, then my suggestion is water and green tea.
  • Haha.. I definitely don't follow this list!
  • Yea, I use overripe bananas in banana bread, and banana "ice cream", but other than that, I guess I can stay away from the brown ones! :-)
  • And when you will. I "CAN" workout in the evenings, but I know that by the time I get home from work, make dinner, eat, do whatever school work that I need caught up on, I am NEVER going to workout. That being said, I also CAN workout in the mornings, and I do... bc it's the only time I will make myself do it.
  • I like to make grilled chicken breasts and then top with mushrooms and cheese. I usually put the mushrooms in a small pan to heat them, then put 28 g of shredded cheddar over them until it melts. Then, I put the cooked chicken on my plate, topped with the mushroom / cheese combo.
  • Is this the video that makes bananas look like they are bad for you??? (I ask, as I sit here enjoying my daily banana.)
  • Honestly, it depends on my workout. It's all about figuring out what works for you! This morning, I was feeling really lazy. Everything is cancelled around me so I had a 4 year old chatting with me during my workout. I opted for a 40 minute walk on my treadmill. According to my HRM, I burned just over 200 calories. That…
  • I LOVE INSANITY!
  • Lots of people have done it on here. I started it, but then the holidays got the best of me. That being said, search the message boards to read about others experience with it! The best workout is one you like so give it a try! Good Luck!
  • My first major weight loss journey happened while I was drinking about 24 oz of diet pepsi per day, sometimes more. I lost 67 pounds at that time. Since then, I gained some back, but I am confident the diet soda had nothing to do with it.
  • If you plan, you can figure out how to stay within your goals almost anywhere. I have meals for Hoss's, Red Robin, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Applebee's, TGIFridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Taco Bell, etc..... Now, it isn't always something I would eat everyday, but I can always stay under calories. I assume that's your…
