  • I usually replace any sort of meat, say for spaghetti, tacos, lasagna, enchiladas, etc. If you season it the same as if you were using beef it comes out being identical and delicious :D It's so much leaner and healthier than ground beef, too!

  • I think it's important that you do count it. Because some veggies are "better" than others in terms of nutrient content, as well as sugar, starch (carbohydrates) and sodium (cuz canned veggies have higher sodium).
