I tried a Les Mills Body Combat class at the gym last night. I'm not a stranger to this style of class, I have done Turbo Kick Boxing (TKB) before, which is more dance-y, but damn, the class last night had me feeling like a joke. I couldn't pick up the sequence and would go the opposite direction of everyone else, which is…

I really enjoy it when I get it. Great to throw in shakes/smoothies, or just mix with water to dip things in. Kinda pricey, but I liked it better than regular peanut butter.

"I like the one where the cat bit her in the crotch. And the one that scratched his head. And the one that dumped a TV on the guy's face. There appears to be a moral here. " Moral: Keep the cats away while working out. Cats are *kitten* and they like to see you fail :-)

Oops... Day 1 got away from me and I didn't get a work out in :-( I could say it's because I worked a full 8 hours, then went to school for 2 hours, then came home and ate dinner and had to prep dinner for tonight (doing Whole30 which started yesterday and if you haven't done it, it requires a lot of meal prep) and before…

Make your own motivational board at home with things that will motivate you. Strive to beat yourself each month instead of other people (members of your gym). At the gym, I would suggest speaking to the manager or someone about the situation and let them know how it made you feel. There may be others who were just as put…

I like to make tuna or chicken salad and instead of eating on bread, I use carrots, celery, and/or cucumber to scoop it up. Very yummy and extra veggies is always good!

First off, CONGRATS on the close to 100lb loss. That is a huge accomplishment and you have got to be proud of just that milestone alone. Second, WAHOO for the NSV. I think this is the best NSV I have seen lately (or maybe it's because I am a Disney freak). I'm glad you could get on and enoy the rides. How fun for you and…

I'm interested! :-)

Seriously LOL at the "bat grannie" comment. Congrats on getting the bigger weights. Many people would have probably left the store empty handed when they saw what they wanted wasn't there. But not you. You looked at those big green monsters and said "I GOT THIS" and bought them instead. That, in itself, is a huge…

I want to sign up, but need to find my fitbit! Saving this for later :-)

San Diego is also known for craft beer. If you enjoy good tasting beer, check out some of the local breweries. Or, catch a bus tour and have someone else do the driving for you! http://brewerytoursofsandiego.com/breweries.html Enjoy my city!

For me, there is no place I would rather be than under the water, alone with just my heartbeat, the inhale/exhale of my breathing, and the sound of the ocean living around me. It's purely one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. Enjoy it :-)

I left work late and had to rush home to get my gym clothes that were fresh from the dryer before heading to an evening gym class. I grabbed the still warm clothes from the dryer, threw them on, and ran out the door as fast as I had run in. I made it to my class with less than a minute to spare. The music started and I was…

Feet may hurt due to poor shoe support. You may be on your feet all day, but that doens't mean your calorie burn is high.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Getting into ONEDERLAND is definitely something to celebrate. I can't wait for the day I get there. I'll probably thrown myself some kind of huge party hahaha But really, congrats. Hard work and dedication is paying off. Keep going and never look back :-) :drinker:

Great progress! Thank you for the reminder that the scale is not the "end all be all" in what are bodies should be. I myself stepped on the scale this morning to find a very slight increase in weight (0.3lbs) but my waist measurement DECREASED by one inch from 46" to 45". I'll take it! Thanks for posting your pictures and…

Your hard work has paid off! You look amazing! And by the way, where did you get that black and white dress? I love it!

Congrats to you and THANK YOU for posting so many pictures of your transformation. It helps me to see women like you, who are the same height and similar starting weight, that have been moving to their goal and look fantastic. I see you and think "that will be me some day" and it gives me that extra push to keep doing what…

My bestfriend jokes with me that I need to be inside of a plastic safety bubble at all times: I have a scar on the very top of my head on my middle part line - I fell out of a tree house at my aunts house when i was 6-7 and landed on my head (on the brick border surrounding the play area) 2 inch scar on the top of my left…

Please please please visit your local shelter first. Take your daughter and husband with you and mingle with the dogs there. I know you will find the right one for you for way less than a breeders price. Plus, shelter pets come spayed/neutered! Give a dog a chance at their forever home.
