My husband works a very physical job, so eats very high calorie foods just to maintain his muscular build. I don't mind it in the house at all, if I want some, I make sure it fits in my calorie total for the day or work out extra to compensate, other than that it's shear willpower. You have to make a choice, stay the way…

From my experience, fasting only leads to a huge binge. The cycle can be vicious.

I'm a stress eater too. Since having my twins I have gained and lost the same 5-10lbs, so for about a year give or take I've been "maintaining". Although I did lose all the baby weight, I still had an additional 15-20lbs I wanted to lose. What has helped me is MFP, logging everything I put in my mouth, exercise, avoiding…

Is it your TOM or ovulation (usually middle of the month). I gain 2-3lbs during both of those times each month. For me it's water weight and disappears within a few days after. How is your salt intake-that will also make me retain water. Hang in there.

Calories in vs calories out-both are fine if they fit in your daily caloric intake. I personally prefer wine over beer as it's less bloating.

Okay-so get the flex instead? Which Fitbit would you recommend. I thought the added HR would be great for workouts etc?
-
Well glad to know I'm not the only one! I guess I'll just have to wait it out-it's frustrating being a woman while trying to lose weight. I also gain 3-5lbs a few days before TOM.

People love taking the easy way out-fast tracking, and believe false promises. IMO MFP is super easy to follow, it's just slower going than some people would like.

I'm eating more on a daily basis-around 1400-1500 calories, but I don't do "cheat" days either, I eat what I want, in moderation. If I want a burger or pizza, I eat it. But I balance it out with healthier meals through out the day and plenty of water on the days my sodium intake is high. This has been working great for me…

I only have 13lbs to lose, I've set my goal to lose 1lb per week, which is right around 1400-1450 cals per day. 2lbs per week for me would be unreasonable.

Cannelloni stuffed with spinach and ricotta, bacon crumble on top with a side spring mix salad-yum!

I stop logging after my last snack for the day, which is usually before bed

I think your missing my point. A juicer is helpful for those who would otherwise not eat enough vegetables (mainly dark leafy chlorophyll heavy)/fruits on a day to day or weekly basis. I'm simply stating that it is an excellent way to incorporate more veggies etc into your already complete diet. My kids for example-super…

Just putting this out there for all the people who don't understand juicing. Why would someone juice? I don't know about you, but I would never want to eat in one sitting, 3 cups of kale, 3 cups of spinach, 3 carrots, and an apple, or 1/4 lemon, 1 whole beet, 2-3 carrots, 1/4 cabbage head, and 2 celery stalks. These are…

We have a masticating Omega juicer and absolutely love it. We use it nearly everyday as a way for myself, my husband and especially the kids to get a large portion of veggie servings in one shot. That being said we use it as a part of our daily intake, not as a replacement to eating real healthy nutritious food. We also…

So basically what everyone is saying is I need a Fitbit lol, actually I have been wanting one for a while so maybe it's time to get one. I'm actually really comfortable eating 1400-1500 calories per day, and although I don't mind lowering my 1lb per week loss to 1/2lb per week, I'd really like to get this right, so I'm…

I went from 143 up to 148.2 from Christmas Day until January 2, when I weighed in on the 3rd I was 145-so a lot of water retention, food weight etc. Weighed in today and back down to 143. I'm highly motivated to get to my Goal of 129, so I'm trying to be really careful and stick to losing these last few stubborn pounds.

And Majorly itchy! I had a weave in for my wedding, and we went to Jamaica for our honeymoon, and everytime I would sweat (it was incredibly humid there) I would be itchingy my head like crazy! I had to get my husband to remove it while we were there lol.

Oh wow! That is a big difference from the 186 that strength training gives me, maybe I'll put it at around 250 cals burned, and wear my HRM next class. Thanks!
