  • Starting back on MFP today. I'm so overwhelmed but your progress photos are amazing inspiration. I've 15kg to lose. Well done ladies. Hopefully I'll be able to post here soon.
  • I may dust out my collection of JM dvds and join in! Its been nearly 2 years since I did them but loved them at the time. I was addicted and had great results with all of them. I think I might go back to basics and start again with 30DS. I used to alternate between this and 6W6P.
  • I love JM 6 pack 6 weeks. Have you tried this one?
  • I don't understand why your stressing over 4lbs at 28 weeks! Worry about any weight gain after the baby comes.
  • 15lbs at 17 weeks! Disaster :(
  • 16 weeks up 13lbs. Girls I've been so bad! I decided I wasn't going to count calories on this pregnancy and was going to enjoy it but I feel like crap! I'm up 13lbs at 16 weeks. I'm back and determined to slow down this gain! I've set my calories to 1900. I am so concerned about all the health problems with gaining too…
  • Love this! Felling the very same today. I feel like a massive whale.
  • Milk or milkshakes, this will help the lining of your stomach if your getting sick a lot. Milkshakes are great cos the sugar give you some extra energy.
  • Amanda I'd check with your instructor if you should be still doing crunches. Doing basic crunches can actually push the tummy muscles out and can lead to distastis recti which is the separation of the rectus muscles. You should be concentrating on the transverse muscles to help prevent this separation. Also unless all the…
  • You can do planks right through the pregnancy :)
  • My1985Freckle I'd wait a few days and take another test. Each week the hormone levels increase. Take a digital test and it will tell you how many weeks you are. Sometimes the doctors tests are not as sensitive and maybe your weeks are slightly off.
  • I've been too tired to work out! I'm 7 weeks and I feel like I'm eating like crazy and barely exercising! I feel so guilty but I'll pick up again in a few weeks when this tiredness passes
  • How many calories are you eating per day. We're around the same weight and I want to make sure I don't over do it. I'm 7 weeks now.
  • 2lbs! How have you gained so little. i would have expected at 21 weeks that there must be some baby weight at least.
  • I'm new and I'm only 7 weeks but I've gained 2lbs already! I need to reign it back in a bit esp at the start. I haven't been working out as much because work has been manic but I'm hoping to get back on track this week :)
  • Jan 25th! My Daughter is Jan 11th, I'm Jan 16th and my husband is Jan 18th! It'll be a busy 2 weeks :)
  • Planned! Took 5 months and I'm so excited!
  • Thanks girls
  • Just reading some of your replies and I'm shocked at how little leave you get! I'm in Ireland and we get 26 weeks FULL pay! My company pay for the entire duration of my leave and this is more or less standard. We have to finish 2 weeks before the baby is due and then we also have an option to take an additional 16 weeks…
  • The only modification I am making (doing 30DS and RI30) is to the ab part. Just hold a plank or side plank for the ab section. Its important that you don't lay on your back incase your blood pressure drops and this will make you dizzy. Also unless your absolutely doing the abs correct then you could push the muscles out…
  • I was afraid to say it out loud but I'm delighted to be pregnant but terrified on putting on weight like on my first. I put on 56lbs and I looked massive. I'm trying to workout and watch what I eat. I upped my calories by 400 and I'm trying to be healthy in my choices rather than just tubs of Ben & Jerrys :)
  • Your worried about hurting his feelings but he deserves to have a girlfriend who would do anything for him like her would for you. The fair thing to do is end it. It will hurt at first but he'll get over it and learn from it. You'll find someone who you are attracted to and you'll be be probably happier apart.
  • I looked at your blog - 3 hours in the gym! How do you have time for that. Fair play. I'm lucky to get 30mins in front of my tv with Jillian Michaels :)
  • Back to work in 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!! Really? We get 26 weeks maternity leave in Ireland. When I had my daughter I found workout dvds the best cos you only need 30mins in your house. Walking also worked wonders for me. I'd walk 60mins in the morning and she'd sleep the entire time. Try any of the 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30.…
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3817-eat-more-to-weigh-less Have a look here, it has all that info. Basically starting you should eat about 20% less than your TDEE to lose weight. Try not to go under your BMR to stay healthy. All you need is in that forum.
  • Depends on the type of exercise your doing! I workout to tone up and keep my fitness levels up. I don't want to loose weight but have wobbly bits! You eat your calories back to replace the energy used while working out.
  • This dvd is the best! Love love love it for legs! plie squat hops are killer for inner thighs :)
  • I got mine when I was in Weight Watchers and its great. Do you know anyone who is doing WW who could get you one?
  • Think about what you usually eat and then buy a food scales and measure everything. This is what works for. I didn't cut out anything but I realised my portion sizes were twice what I should be eating. Don't guess on calories, its so easy to get the exact amount if you measure.
