Tin of tomatoes, smushed up and reduced down a bit in a pan, add salt, pepper, garlic and chillis. Yum. Next to no calories.

If it works for you and you don't get bored, great, but.... what about the bacon....??? :o :p
-
Ah.... thanks for the reply guys, didn't know GPS doesn't work in water. You learn a new thing every day! :)

1kg is absolutely nothing in terms of weight fluctuation, it is very normal. Is it your TOM? I fluctuate several kilos around that time. You say you did indulge whilst you were away, it is quite possible you ate more than you thought, 1000 calories is pretty easy to do, especially if you are eating out. A single milkshake…

Could I ask why it will only work in indoor pools and not outdoor swims? I would have thought it would be more accurate outdoors without a roof overhead...?

OP, I don't think you are understanding that here is a difference between being constipated and just not regular! I'm almost 46 and for my entire life (well, as long as I can remember, so at least 20-odd years), I have gone 1-2 times a week. I have been overweight, underweight and a normal weight. I drink black coffee…

Wondered when you would start this thread and BAM, here it is!! Not disappointed! Now I KNOW you are having us on. No 32 year old living in San Francisco is that clueless. And even if you were, if you put in your posts that you are 32 and live in San Francisco, then even someone who is clueless about the internet…

Huh? What? You ARE different, because everyone is different in some way or another and different heritage, whether it's a different or same coloured one is interesting... If I'm white and interested in a Polish friends heritage is that okay, but if my friend is Jamaican that wouldn't be?! Besides, you are the one saying…

I'm not in the UK anymore but my favourite crisps of all time are Salt & Vinegar square crisps and the bonus is they are pretty low cal (about 100cals per packet I think)... I once ate 14 bags in a go, so probably not low cal that time! ;) Where I currently live we get South African Simba crisps, 196 cals a packet!! But…

Okay, I'm going to bite because, well, I'm bored... If you know this girl is a "nice girl" then I'm assuming you have met her in order to form this opinion. Therefore it's not the first conversation she has had with either your mother or you. She has asked two questions of two different people, both of a very different…

I didn't say it annoyed me, because it really didn't, Why would it? I am just looking at what you posted with an outsiders viewpoint and I was actually trying to be supportive by pointing out something you may not have realised you were doing. Sometimes it's hard to accept that what you are saying might be worded a bit…
-
But, but, if they are asking you about it, then how are they not supporting you?? And I'm afraid to say, your first post definitely came across at complaining your family and friends were not supportive enough. If you are simply answering questions about your day, I am not sure why they would think you are lecturing or…

Congratulations on your accomplishment, that's the way to do it, slow and steady and keep it off. As for family and friends, as I don't know you it's hard to judge, so please don't take this personally, but maybe you are going on about your successes a bit too much? Not everyone is interested in exercise or nutrition and…

This thread is 5 years old!!

@Porshiana why are you digging up all the 4 and 5 year old threads??

This thread is from 2013!!!!

If there are no weights of any of the ingredients, or make of tinned soup, how can you possibly say it is 400 cals?
-
Haha, thanks for the clarification, you can't always tell on here... :D
-
Not sure if you are agreeing with me or not, can't really tell... If you are agreeing and saying that the best athletes know variety is the best thing to fuel life with, including treats then a big thumbs up to what you are saying. If not, then you've misread what I was saying. ;)

So what you got from all the advice that everyone gave you in your thread the other day about your fruit only diet was to replace some of the fruit with low calorie Tesco shakes? No wonder you are crashing and having cheat days and feeling sick and unmotivated. Please, stop with the fad diets - just plug your stats into…
-
Haha, that's hilarious. Why would you say I despise you? I don't even know you. I neither like or dislike you, I am simply commenting on your food intake. How old are you? I very much doubt that any successful athlete eats exactly the same food every day for six months. As for celebrities, who knows with some of their fad…

Thanks so much for that pdf, and thanks to whoever gave it to you, that was just what I needed. I am training for a run, just a 10km, so have focused on just getting out and running. I knew I needed to do core work to help but wasn't really sure what would be best. This is brilliant! :D
-
You've eaten that same food every single day for 6 months? Every.Single.Day????? If you have, then you really do need to seek help, that is simply not normal. Do you never go out for a meal with friends? Have a bit of cake? Gosh that sounds utterly miserable and would indicate you have some problems to deal with.
-
Why? I dunno, *shrugs* it's quite a common thing where I currently live. You're a hairdresser, not a hair dye seller, why be offended? If a customer really likes a colour but isn't good at applying it I don't see what difference it makes whether it's "your" dye you apply or a bought one. Maybe charge an application fee, a…

Hard to tell with so little information. How long are you planning on eating it for? Just one day? Everyday forever? Sounds hideous to me, but... does it fit your calorie goals for the day? Do you enjoy it? If the answer is yes then it's fine. Think you would get mighty bored of that quite quickly, especially the rather…

Can't help with the weights bit but the bolded part made me sad. Please don't be sad you are turning 50, celebrate and be grateful. Many aren't so lucky to make it that far...

As others have said, a lot of entries won't have potassium listed, so you may be getting more than you think. Also, if you are that worried about your potassium levels, couldn't you just take a supplement? Oh, and unless you are very, very short, you need more than 1000 calories a day for your health.
-
A.) It's only been a week and a bit, first weeks loss was water weight. B.)That is an awful diet, where are your fats and protein coming from? C.) It's all about calories in vs calories out. You could easily be eating more than your calorie allowance of fruit... If you were eating LESS than your calorie amount for the day…
