  • I have the 21 day fix videos and info but not the containers. I lost 105lbs just through exercise and portion controlled eating with MFP but i've slacked off and gained back 30lb. Has anyone done this program without the containers?
  • Yes! It makes me feel pretty, especially my toes! haha Favourite Christmas tradition?
  • I have that book too! As well as many others by Lysa but have yet to read them. Think I will start tonight. Feel free to add me! I'm 31, married, 1 son and love God! :) I have struggled all my life with my weight, lost 105lbs only to put 30 of it back on, but i'm determined to get it back off, just need the motivation
  • Thanks guys! I think I'll just throw all my veggies together and see what I can come up with lol
  • corn, zucchini, cauliflower, tomatoes, maybe just a hearty vegetable soup in general lol
  • Diagnosed about 4 years ago, started at 12.5mcg synthroid now at 175 mcg. I've always been overweight and could never lose, even now it's hard but I did knock off over 100lbs by eating healthier foods, portion control and exercise. Since I've lost the weight I'm having issues of tiredness/fatigue, hair loss, brain fog,…

  • I have hypothyroidism and I've lost 100lbs in the past year! Did you do your calculations and find out your TDEE & BMR? Maybe you're eating too few calories which can cause weight gain
  • No gym for me! Check out my facebook page for more info! https://www.facebook.com/#!/CandacesJourney
  • I just downloaded today on my iphone and I'm finding it funny how I'm running to try and get more steps in hahahaha!
  • A lifestyle change is what works! You need to find a balance with healthy eating and exercise and incorporate it into your own life. You will not be able to make the change until you're ready, and it's one step at a time. Slowly let go of the junkier food, replacing it with healthier options. If there's something you don't…
  • Thanks guys! Glad I could inspire someone else! I appreciate all the friend requests, but I must warn you, if you are negative or inactive, I will remove you because it's about quality relationships, not quantity.
  • Thank you!!! Hahaha. The pic on the left is how I looked most of my life, so glad I made a change!
  • Thanks guys! I don't always remember to take pics of my food, but I post a lot of pics links from other sites for recipes I use! I'm telling you all now, water plays a big part as well! Make sure to drink up!
  • Thanks!! I just hope I can help someone else as I'm still on this journey and I've wanted to give up SEVERAL times, but it's a lifestyle now and that's what makes it sooooo much easier!!
  • I do couch to 5k on my iphone and it's jogging/walking intervals. I live at the edge of town so I just walk outta town instead of in, see wayyy less people that way, lol. But remember, no matter how slowly you go or how stupid you look, you're still lapping every body on the couch! :)
  • I get a lot of my ideas from Pinterest!! But www.emilybites.com is a good one too!!
  • I agree fully. I was there at one point. It's never easy. It's a choice I make everyday. But it is a simple concept. I made excuses all my life, like why the weight wasn't comming off, why I couldn't exercise, why I couldn't eat healthy. But it's when I stopped making excuses and starting having a more positive attitude…
  • And I just wanted to say, I had no intentions of working out today but your kind words and positive attitudes were just what I needed to get moving!!!! Thanks for being so awesome!!
  • I have a few people around me who did this. They were very miserable for the whole time they were on it. One friend dropped 35lb. She was very sick and has since put it back on, plus more. She is more miserable now than when she started. I have another friend who was drinking a shake for breakfast and lunch. He decided he…
  • It's all in that positive frame of mind eh? Your first sentence is exactly how I feel. I've tried many different diets only to realize that eventually you have to come off them and I gained the weight back and then some! 1lb a week might not seem like much, but I'll take 52lb a year loss!!! Woohoo!! LOL. Think about it…
  • Haha, I felt like that too! The simple lifestyle changes are the ones that will stick. Becuase it's about what you do for the long run, not for the present. I think that's why the fads fail.
  • & if you were the only one, I will feel content in myself that I have made a difference today :)
  • you can make excuses, or you can make a change, but ultimately, the choice is yours :)
  • I have to say, from some of the messages I've been getting since starting this thread, appreciate the positive ones & the negative ones alike, but the negative ones are comming from excuses mostly. Make yourself accountable, it is simple, you will have to make a change to see a difference. Trust me when I say I have been…
  • Slow & Steady Dyanna :) You WILL get there. No point in rushing it, small steps will lead to bigger success!!!
  • Thanks! sometimes, no matter what I do, all the healthy eating and exercise, the scale don't budge, or it moves up. I've just told myself, I've gained muscle this week, lol. It really does help, as the week following I'm sure to be down. I'm certain positive thinking plays a big part :) Congrats to you as well, every…
  • Thanks for all the replies. I wish you guys nothing but the best on the road to a healthier you. I try to surround myself with positive people everyday. To the negative people, I wish you nothing but the best as well. Good luck in your success :)
  • That's the way to do it. If I go over, I don't beat myself up over it, nor do I lie to myself and not log. I just pick myself up the next day and try to do better :)
  • & that's the way to do it! Eventually you may not want it at all but if you do, so be it. Everything in moderation. Best of luck to you!
