My sister just got home for thanksgiving break and we're watching Hoarders, lol.

11/6: 180 11/13: 177.5 I haven't exercised in the past 2 weeks, so while the number is still going down, I am always thinking about what it could have been if I would have kept up my exercising. I'm just been so tired with school these last 2 weeks :( Thanksgiving is coming up, and I don't feel too good about that whole…

I'd do this too, lol

I don't ever remember being smaller than a size 12, so single digits would be huge for me :) I would be happy at an 8.

I found a nice dessert on skinnytaste.com. The pumpkin cupcakes with pumpkin spiced cream cheese frosting. It's a good recipe, but I made a few tweaks. I used half whipped cream and half cream cheese for the frosting.

10/23: 182 10/30: 181.5 I wish it was more but considering my intake was all over the place this week, I shouldn't be surprised. Hopefully I can get back on track this week.

I like this as the long term goal seems too far off, so tackling it in small steps might help me out. I have trouble keeping up with my exercise when I have some days off when I can't go. My goals for this week: 1. exercise at least 5x this week 2. try and net close to 1200 calories (I'm usually under by 200-300 cal) 3.…

I plan to eat what I want. I'm not big on turkey, so my mom makes ham for my sister and I. We always make a hashbrown casserole and stuffing, so I plan to enjoy myself. We never have these foods any other time of the year, so it's my one time per year to enjoy them. I am really looking forward to pumpkin pie cheesecake…

I sometimes do this or use an egg white and a slice of cheese to make a sandwich, using one of the sandwich rolls.

If you like sausage, try turkey sausage, turkey bacon, etc.. Try to incorporate some lean meats for the protein.
-
I do them anyway even if I don't think I will be able to get through the class. How will you be able to improve and gauge your progress if you don't try. Plus, I like that it gives me some different options for exercising instead of just doing the machines and elliptical all the time.

You can't spot reduce but you can reduce your overall fat percentage through lots of cardio

^^This worked for me. I forced myself to go after a really hard upper body workout the day before. The day afterwards, all the pain was gone :)

I either have 1/2 c dry oatmeal, 1 cup skim milk, 1 tablespoon of creamer, and 1 splenda packet = around 250 cal or a 110 cal whole grain sandwich thin with a slice of cheese, 1 egg white and 1 serving of turkey sausage crumbles = around 300 cal. Both are really filling because of the fiber content.

^^ This so much. Realizing now looking back at the time when I was around 150, I think the reason I felt so big was because my peers were alot smaller than me (I developed really early in middle school). So wishing I was back to that size. Looking back at pics, I wasn't fat because I did sports, I was just alot more…

For me, if the food is in your house, throw it out. This helped tremendously for me because I have no choice but to eat the healthy foods I have in my house. It also forces me to cook more meals, but at least I am enjoying them :)

Me too :)

i weigh mine uncooked

I try to time my meals within an hour of exercising. I can't do something light before exercise like a piece of fruit of granola bar as I find it isn't enough for me to make it through my workout. For me, that meal has to have adequate carbs and protein.
Oh HE'S not sure what.. I'm gonna spend an hour in a small bathroom with a camera phone trying to pick one part of my body that doesn't make me cringe and HE'S not sure what...

I've lived in southeast Georgia my entire life yet most people tell me I don't sound like it. Probably because my mom is Jamaican and my dad is Nigerian, so I didn't grow up around the southern accent like most kids. The only way people tell I'm from the south is because I say " ya'll " alot, lol

potatoes (mashed, FRENCH FRIES, roasted, etc) and Papa Johns pizza

I have the cookies and cream. My aunt gave me some of the french vanilla as well. I use a cup of silk milk and crushed ice in mine and mix it in the blender. I don't have it everyday, only in the mornings when I don't have time for fix breakfast, so when I am under my calorie goal and need something to fill me up
-
Yes and no. Right now it feels like a diet because I only started a week and a half ago. But I am trying to find healthy ways to fix some of my favorite foods, so that it can end up being a lifestyle change for me. So far, I feel proud of myself because I have gotten rid of most of the junk food at my house and have asked…

Based on your profile, have you tried incorporating more different types of fish into your diet? It would probably help with your healthy weight gain, having the added protein.

I always wondered if your stomach shrinks/gets used to smaller portions. I'm so used to eating until I was full/overly full. Now that I am trying to stop just before that full sensation, I just hope that I am able to stick to it this time. I just hate throwing away perfectly good food

5'4" and somewhere between 135-145. I don't ever remember being around this weight (last time was probably during middle school :\ ). If/when I ever get there, I may re-evaluate my goal to be a little lower. My main goal is to be within the normal BMI category. I have a large frame so I know being really small wouldn't…
