I zig-zag all the time! - mainly because life is like that! I always try to keep to my weekly goal though, usually through exercise :) It's really working for me! Just make sure you don't eat under 1000kcal and try not to go over maintenance... Good Luck! :)

Capital letters scare me! It's probably water retention in your muscles, I also didn't lose weight (putting on 2Ibs..) and had a crisis of confidence but followed advice to drink more water.. I lost 4Ibs suddenly in a massive whoosh so I suggest you try that :) Pat on back for completing L1 though! Well done! :)

Oh no! Hope you're okay! I think I'm temporarily out of action too & so disappointed about it!! I was due to start Level 2 today (I started a couple of days before I joined the group) and I'm getting shooting pains like a less than sprained ankle type... I dealt with it in Level 1 by toning down my enthusiastic jumping…

Wow everyone is just so helpful around here! I don't have a HRM yet so I'm trying to slightly underestimate exercise and I usually overestimate food so maybe I am eating too little (which would be nice!) I'll try to change up the calorie intake a bit and start saving for that HRM, thanks so much for replying it's wonderful…

Thanks for replying guys :) I've made my diary public now so you can take a look :) I do eat back my exercise calories (one exception being saturday when I burnt so many cycling a while 18 miles to the pub I couldn't eat them back!) I have taken measurements and have lost an inch from each thigh and one from my hips so I…

I love to bake and anything that smells as good as fresh baked cookies usually spells disaster for me! They best way I've come up with to deal with it is immediately wrapping whatever is tempting me into batches (for example by 100 or 200 cals, or just with what's acceptable as one portion). I do this with most things now…

Heya Stacey, I'm fivefootbutactuallyfourfootelevenandahalf too... (and that's generally how I say it if anyone asks!) Also pear although I'd say I'm naturally an hourglass shape, I can relate to the extra weight issue! I haven't done the whole friend thing yet either so I'd be happy to support you if you'd like :) Ellen x

Two teaspoons of Lyle's Golden Syrup! - you can enjoy it slowly in front of the tv or a good film and it won't damage the calorie count! - MFP lists 3 teaspoons as 65 calories! (I take two and count three to be safe). - it's so sweet that it will usually kick your sugar craving in the *kitten* and you'll struggle to go…
