I'm with you on the hip flexor s. I try to really stretch them out but they are really sore today.

Yesterday did my first workout in stage 7. It got tough towards the end. I thought of cutting it short and only doing three sets but I cowboyed up and did all 4. I enjoyed it but definitely am sore today. Looking forward to 7b tomorrow.

Almost done with this stage. The beautiful, summer weather has me doing a lot more outside. I've been making it to the gym about twice a week. I'm ready to have my workouts be a little shorter so I spend less time inside so I'm looking forward to stage 6.

Thanks everyone. This is just what I needed to hear. I think I do need to change things up a bit. I've gotten kind of complacent with everything. So much of this whole journey is the mental games instead of what is going on physically. Jeez... Guess that's why they call it a journey, not a destination.

First, fire her. Second go to club manager. Muscle soreness is fine for a few days. If you are in this much pain you may have hurt yourself. Did you see a doctor? Be your own advocate here and tell the trainer to go pound sand. She sucks.

Lat pull down works lats and rhomboids. Shoulder press works deltoids.

Took a week off so started back with 5A today. NSV from my niece this week end. She said ive really lost weight and I look good! I told her I've been lifting and she said she can tell because I look "in shape". Made me feel like a rock star!

Ill be joining this stage tomorrow. I am going to see a trainer this week to make sure my form is right on some of these lifts. I feel so uncoordinated !

I've stuck to a 20% deficit. Very little additional cardio although I do walk the dogs a couple miles most days (but not for cardio). If you lift off a box, you will likely lower the weight you are lifting. The box allows you to drop your butt more like a squat to use your glutes.
