  • As long as you're consistent in the way you do it, it doesn't matter. Personally, I don't go by what's on the clock, I go by when I wake up and go to sleep. A new day starts when I wake up and ends when I go to sleep. You could do it however you want as long as you do it the same every day.
  • According to that site: 20.8% According to my scale: 18.6% I've been using the same scale to track body fat % and it's been going down (from 23.3% a couple months after I started). My target is around 17-18%
  • May as well stay up, you might not be able to wake up on time if you don't. I had too many all nighters in college and don't miss it at all. Find a source of caffeine :)
  • I felt like I was starving the whole day, had a total of 2340 calories, consisting of too much pasta and hershey kisses
  • I have in the past early in my career but now I would not.
  • If it has that many calories, then yeah you should track it, if it was like 5-10, I would, but that wouldn't be totally necessary.
  • Ugh that happens... for me it's only a couple pounds, but it's annoying. I never eat enough food to constitute it being all fat though. I'm guessing it's water weight. There are so many things that can affect it.
  • I've done something similar. It wasn't a full-out love letter, more like a "I miss you and still have feelings for you. Is there a chance we could get back together"... now we're married. My reasons for ending it the first time had to do with my shortcomings not his and we had about a year and a half of not really talking…

  • "You are roughly the same weight as the average adult in Bangladesh" "You're lighter than the average adult in 177 countries", "You're heavier than the average adult in 0 countries" Well that certainly adds some perspective
  • I've been struggling with one since I was a teenager. My mother and both my sisters were/are overweight. Because of this I have had a fear of becoming this way. I was diagnosed with ed-nos about 5 years ago. I still struggle with it but it doesn't have the hold on my life it used to. I try to eat 1200 a day, sometimes I…
  • I think if you are just starting out, wii fit is good. For me, I don't burn enough calories, however I will do it time to time when I don't feel like going to the gym, but still want some exercise. You can get it pretty cheap now. I got it when it first came out so it was a little expensive. I prefer going to the gym…
  • 90 is not too much... maybe if done every single day, but if I'm running 10K, that takes me about <70 mins, with a 5 min warmup, and then I walk til I hit 99 mins (treadmill stops me), not really too much. Maybe you were overestimating your calorie burn? You could try doing the same amount and only eating some of the…
  • If a friend was the cheater, I wouldn't tell their partner; if their partner was cheating and I knew, I would tell the friend. But it all depends on how close I am to them. It all comes down to: I would want to know if my spouse was cheating on me. I would be pissed if one of my family members/close friends knew he was and…
  • Home - don't keep it in your house. We have a rule/understanding that the hubby is only allowed to get snacks I don't like. There are plenty of snacks I don't like, so he has plenty to choose from. Work - that's harder. Before MFP, people would bring in donuts and I couldn't resist. Something you could do, is just say, I…
  • 1 glass of water = 8oz So each tick on the glass on the diary = 8oz If you drink a total of 64oz, the thing on your diary would say 8.
  • Most likely not. I found that as I got closer to my goal weight, I was losing less each week, not by much, but less than a pound per week.
  • Counting calories has worked for me. At first I didn't worry about where those calories came from, but I discovered I could eat a lot more when I ate healthier (vegetables, lean meats, etc). As a result, I ate less pasta, rice, etc. I still eat things I like, but stay within my calories. I also run 3x a week and am in the…
  • Gum, I figure I burn more calories chewing it anyway lol
  • Wow definitely! Good job!!
  • I used to love eating a banana before a workout, it gave me such a boost in energy.... but they attracted fruit flies :( I do recommend making sure you are hydrated beforehand. I find that if I don't drink enough water before I get pains in my side.
  • Well, it probably wasn't all muscle growth, it takes a long time to gain that many pounds of muscle. It could be water retention from your muscles repairing themselves. Or you could be eating too much (hard to say without seeing your food/exercise diary)
  • I've never been pregnant and I'm not an expert, but I found this website: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/pregnancy_calorie_calculator.htm I would recommend talking to your doctor about your caloric needs!
  • I hate the games people play when dating. I wish people would be more straight up and honest.
  • Eat it however you want... For me, it works out better if I have a light breakfast and lunch so that I don't go over for dinner.
  • If you're craving a burger, you might need some protein... eat some chicken or tuna and see if that helps. If you absolutely have to have it, then earn the calories... if I find myself wanting something (usually chocolate) after my calories, I make myself go for a walk/run to burn it off. Try to distract yourself... chew…
  • Mine was pasta. I never realized how many calories were in just 1 serving and I had been eating a lot more than 1.
  • I know my husband is hesitant to say anything to me because he doesn't want me to feel like he wasn't attracted to me before. I think it's tough for guys to know what the right thing to say is.
  • This is just how I think: I think it part of it has to do with the "clean your plate" mentality. "If you don't finish the cookie(s), then it'll go to waste and there are starving people in the world." Another thing, I find it's easier to do portion control, when I measure it ahead of time. Make your own 100 calorie snack…
