tell your OB what is wrong and ask to try a different pill. There are literally hundreds of hormonal options that can help regulate your periods.

you could be building muscle, retaining water, idk. Lots of things. dont worry too much just keep doing what you are doing.

this is exactly what i was going to say ! nuts also!

I dont know that much about it apart from my own experience. I never get sore from running or elliptical. I do get sore from sprints and strength training. Whatever works for you is fine but you may find there are benefits to building muscle through strength training for long term weight loss.

maybe a tiny tiny bit...idk I just like it.

I always base my workouts on what time I eat in order to avoid this problem

I have a few suggestions. 1) You may need to eat less. Lots of people on MFP do eat more to lose more, but that has not worked out for many short people I know. Thats just my own experience though, so that may not be it. 2) Try calorie cycling or calorie zigzagging. (got me out of a 3 month plateau) 3) Incorporate more…

any hormonal birth control can change your body in relation to weight, but some may be better than others. There are some non-hormonal options though. They can really get you feeling back to normal. The copper IUC (paraguard) has no hormones and is 99.9% effective for 10 years. Planned parenthood offers them at differing…

There is a lot of misinformation on this thread ! Water is water. According to some people, herbal non caffeinated tea can also count as water. Anything else has something added to it which changes the properties of water. Juice and soda has added sugar, diet soda has controversial problematic chemicals (check out some of…

me too! I would be flattered by some gym flirting lol

its dedication! but its not an unhealthy obsession. If anything, being healthy is something that i think is ok to be obsessive about. Honestly I would rather be with a guy who works out and is healthy even if he is not as attractive as someone who is lazy with a naturally fantastic body.

generally if your periods become irregular you do not have a high enough body fat %. If you are concerned maybe see a dr. because this can cause health problems down the line.

Try it out, see if it works for you! I eat a very plant based diet but I am neither vegan or vegetarian.

i dont worry about net. I rarely eat back more than like, 50 exercise calories. But other people will say this is a bad idea. who knows haha. I never go to bed hungry so its not an issues.

Im 5'1". I started at 175, im now 142 (size 6) , goal weight is 125. I eat around 1200 and i dont eat back my exercise calories. I plateaued for a while and i bumped up my intake but that made me gain. I recently started calorie cycling which got me back on track. I do a 2 days at/around 1200 and then a day up at 1400-1500…

I primarily live at school so this is not an issue for me. Before i go home my mom always asks me what food she should get. i just tell her not to get me anything because im sticking to healthy food. Just tell her ! its not that hard. Then again I may be spoiled because the difference between what i eat and what my family…

I honestly think it should be checked by a dr. because measurements dont always give the whole story. My thighs have gotten bigger from running and workouts out in general, but there is def. less fat on them.

It has aspartame in it which many studies have proven to cause cancer. (aspartame is also used in rat poison...). It has also been linked to alzheimers. Also, some people say that your body responds to sweetness the same way regardless of if its real sugar. This is because digestions starts in your mouth with your taste…

I can totally relate to this. Its hard for me to wrap my head around how much I gained the past 2 years. Honestly Im still not really sure how it happened. I wish I had been logging my activities and food during that process so I could know for sure.

people complain about how we live in a culture that promotes unhealthy living. How are you going to get upset when someone actually tries to do something about it?
-
How many obese people vs people w/ kids under 18? Parent's clearly aren't doing a very good job with the obesity problem. [/quote] This! Schools are a place for people to learn academics but also to learn how to live! I agree that there should be more phys ed. but government allocations of funds is a whole different issue.…

a healthier diet should lead to better pooping. I would make sure that you are eating healthy and not just less food.
