  • I am 3.5 years out. Lost 120lbs and then gained 20 back over the last year doing everything wrong. too much alcohol, too much junk food, too many carbs, less than stellar workouts....days on the couch. You name it. I started January 1 2019... so far all clean eating, bariatric style, and lots of working out. Good luck with…
  • Hey! I am new too.... I had the sleeve gastrectomy June 19, 2015. I have had a lot of people tell me I CHEATED in my weight loss goals!!! Well, I also had a lot of other health issues. My stomach was a mess, my sleep apnea was out of control, I was borderline diabetic. I was 210 at on my surgery date and I am now 168
  • I just had mine done June 19. BEST decision I ever made. My doc has us jumping thru hoops to be medically cleared, which is wonderful.... You need to be dedicated to this choice though. The Food part is very strict, and if you don't follow it, or the WAY you need to eat, you could end up miserable. If you REALLY want…
  • HI! I was hoping to find a thread like this! I had a sleeve gastrectomy on June 19, 2015. I have lost 36 lbs since surgery and I am looking for people like me! • Yeah, I am back again too. :blushing: I keep starting, do GREAT and then for one reason or another I leave .... I have learned that if I don't log daily, that I really suck at this "being healthy" thing. I am not making any promises, but I think I will be around for a while!
  • so ... for my first week of "indtuction" I lost 9.5 lbs. I keep saying its water weight...... but I hear that's a good thing because that means my body doesn't need to hold on to all the water, and its processing all the protein, YES??? all I know is that I am having a decent time with it. I still would love a HUGE piece…

  • HEy! feel free to add me..... I log every day.... I love MFP, it has helped me a lot with finding what works and what doesn't. I used to do the same work outs as all my friends, and now I have noticed huge results in doing "my own thing" ..... varying workouts so my body doesn't get "bored'
  • OH... and I work on it each day, some need to take every other day off, but I want to run a half marathon in the fall, so I am following a half program that just gives you distance to run dailly....
  • I too LOVE the Couch to 5K, but found that the walk time was too much in between running.....which made my legs more tired. I like to run for 10 mins and walk for 1 or 2....then keep going. I had to build up to that though....but if you are in decent shape to start with or have good stamina, I agree.... just go til you…
