I have read a study (on the internet, so who knows if it's true) that it makes your waist measurement larger. I've cut down from about a bottle a day to 2 glasses per day, but I've seen no difference from doing that. I find it helps when I'm dieting, as if I need a treat, I go for that.

Me too, I spend hours on it! Heaven if it burns calories.....lol.

That's interesting, because I have read a bit about it before, but obviously if you haven't heard about it maybe it's just a name someone made up. I don't dispute that the tablets I have do have some herbal things in them, but I doubt the weight loss claims now, and I know this company in particular is a scammer as they…

From what I've read every time they charge you they use a different name and a different country of origin and a different amount, so the bank can't keep track of them. Obviously they're very clever at it, and the complaints I read went back to the year 2000. Fortunately my bank is just sending me a new card with a new…

I've just seen an advertisement for it (twice) on this site, so you'd think that would be trustworthy. :frown:

True, I have certainly learnt my lesson the hard (and expensive) way.

That's a bit mean. I have been dieting hard for two years and have lost 15 kilos. I have just had trouble losing the last 5 I need to lose and thought this might be a diet aid that could help me shift that last bit that I've had no success with. Yes, I was desperate for a solution to the plateau I've hit for the last six…

Where do you get Pitango soups? Anywhere on Sydney's North?
-
No, definitely not. Just start logging every day, even if you're not dieting or staying under calories. That's what I'm doing at the moment, as I'm not up to dieting right now, but it really helps to see what you are eating and why you are gaining, and it gives you the incentive to be more careful with what you choose to…

My dogs are Buddy (very typical name), Tilly (short for Matilda, as she's an Australian Terrier and our national song is "walltzing matilda") and Angel (papillion - chihuahua cross)....good for a little dog like her.. My cats are Rosie, Tiger and Indiana.

Does anyone think that bike riding would help???

Face. The. Not fair...I got a photo where you can't see her face. But I'll say, from the hair colour...maybe 19?
-
Yum! Any idea how many calories for that?

I will remember you all in my prayers tonight. Organ donation is a wonderful thing for all involved. All the best :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou:

Ignorant again...der. Can someone please tell me what quinoa is, and what you do with it? '

Thanks a lot Suzy. That's a great help. See you on the January thread :-)

Wow, so many posts! It took me almost an hour to read them  Like others, I can't respond to everyone (lukcy if I can even remember everyone's names with my memory) but I do enjoy reading the posts and hearing what everyone has been up to. It feels like such a community. Funny to think most of you are in winter while…

Thanks Suzy...that's an eye opener

Hello all. Welcome to 2012! I hope it's a happy one for you! I reached my goal for December, and am just thinking about January. Someone said on the December thread (sorry, I have a terrible memory) that they'd like to be more consistent....good food choices, exercise, be healthier, cleaning the house etc. That sounded…

Hi Suzy, Excuse my ignorance, but could you please tell me what a simple carb is as opposed to a complex carb? And what high fiber, healthy things you filled your cupboard with please? I am looking for ideas. Thanks, Kathie :flowerforyou:

That's great. It's easier to get all that "water" than I thought. I won't count coffee and tea but am happy with the others :-)

I had mine removed on November 22nd, about a month ago. I had 5 laparoscip (can't spell it) incisions, but i live in Australia, so they may do it differently. I was in pain for my 2 days at the hospital, but never took one painkiller after I got home, even though it hurt a bit moving....no big deal though. To answer some…

Happy New Year everyone! 10.51pm here in Sydney now, so we're nearly there  I'm not 100% sure what my December goal was, but I think it was to lose 1 kg before Christmas and I did that (and I actually didn't gain it all back in the past week...though most of it...lol). Not sure what I'll set for January...maybe the…

Sounds delicious! I need to buy myself some bitters.

YAY! That's great! Thanks guys...couldn't be better.

Hope it's Ok if I answer for Lisa here...I'm sure she won't mind (we actually live quite close). Yes, some Christmas cards, wrapping, tags, decorations, etc. do have snow and snowmen and snowy scenes...the traditional ones...but we have others as well, just showing trees or stars or Santa or religious scenes. Some are…

Happy holidays everyone! Our Christmas day is almost over now. A beautiful day...warm and sunny and 27 degrees (81 F)....perfect for Christmas and not too hot, thank goodness. A very successful day at home here with Mum and the children, and now I have the evening to myself. I ate way to much...my meals were healthy but…

Been there, done that...know the feeling. I feel for you. Strangely enough, I turned to food during my relationship (says something about the quality of the relationship) and started dieting when I came out of it, in order to feel better about myself, and it has worked. Things will get better...believe me...it just takes…

Whoa...so many posts this time, including sad news, which is such a shame to hear. It sounds like everyone is very busy with the holiday season, and lots of temptation seems to be around (as it does here in my life). It is quite strange sometimes to read your posts as sometimes the USA sounds like a different world, not…

Love your post! My trojan horse?...Lindt chocolates...given by work as a Christmas present, in a lovely golden box. So far I have been rationing and sharing with my kids (that always helps), but yes, some people do make it difficult (with all the best intentions).
