  • From the Reynolds Kitchens, here is a easy no-clean up recipe: Chicken with Tomatoes and Olives 4 sheets (12x18-inches each) Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 to 1 1/4 lb.) 1 small onion, thinly sliced 2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes with garlic and onions, drained 1…
  • Eucerin is fantastic too!
  • I haven't tried these yet but they are on my list . . . . Spicy Chil Bean Burgers - one burger WITH bun has 280 calories (Calories from Fat 40); Protein 11g and loaded with good-for-you fiber. http://fiberone.com/Recipes/RecipeView.aspx?rid=44434&cid=407
  • I love rice as a side to my oriental low-calorie knock-offs. Last night we made Oriental BBQ Beef in foil packets in the oven. Total calories for the beef and veggies was 252. Yum!
  • Do you have to adjust calories burned by resting heart rate?
  • Has anyone used this HR monitor? Looking for some feedback. Thanks
  • What a great idea for the root beer float!
  • This is a great website and newsletter. We have tried the Strawberry Cloud Pie, Onion Rings, and Chicken Nuggets (all with Fiber One).
  • That sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing
  • Thank goodness I didn't have any girl scouts come to my house. . . . . . .
  • I am right there with you. I was out of town this weekend and didn't have access to a computer. I was visiting someone at the hospital so I actually ate pretty healthy during the day but didn't do so good at night. What I think we need to remember is that we are trying to create a new lifestyle and that we need to find…
  • I'm a grazer and get shaky if I don't eat something every two to three hours. I've even been known to get up in the middle of a night for some whole wheat crackers or a piece of string cheese. By spacing your food out through the day at smaller meals and snacks, you don't feel as it you are starving yourself and can keep…
  • You can have an entire bag of 7 cups of Jolly Time 94% Fat Free for 106 calories +/-. I "spice" it up using Pam and adding zesty season salt. Yum!
  • You are off to a great start!
  • Great job! It is amazing how much your BMI can change with just a little weight. I lost 1.4 pounds in my first week on this program but it was .6% off my BMI. Keep up the great work.
  • Here is a day at approximately 1200 - I didn't really feel I was dieting either. Because I had such a big breakfast mid-morning, I ate a later lunch and an earlier dinner. Breakfast Coffee - Coffee W/Coffee Mate 1tsp, Grapefruit - Raw, pink and red, California and Arizona, 0.5 fruit (3-3/4" dia) Milton's - Multi-Grain…
  • Fantastic! What a great start! I have started drinking lots of water also - I try for ten glasses or more in addition to my daily coffee fix of two cups. Of course, I am in the bathroom all the time . . . . .
  • It is great that you are instilling great habits while your child is young. We are trying to "undo" years of bad habits with our thirteen year old daughter.
  • We've also tried onion rings and chicken strips using the Fiber One as the breading. They were great! Three year old ate the chicken strips too!
  • I made some fantastic buttermilk waffles this morning using Fiber One. Their website has tons of other great recipes. You can have two four inch waffles for 270 calories but they pack a whopping 10 grams of fiber. My three year old daughter ate two and asked for a third -- I had to say "no". Didn't think 15 grams of fiber…
  • Anybody try Wii Music?
  • Miltons Mult-Grain is fantastic! It has a sweet taste to it so you don't even need to put butter on your toast to make it taste good. It is loaded with fiber and protein. Even my three year old will eat it so maybe it won't taste too bad to a Bunny Bread lover (I grew up on Bunny too!).
  • If I am doing this right, each fat gram has 9 calories. So at 54 grams, that is 486 calories from day from fat. My total calories allowed was 1633. So the goals are based on a diet consisting of 30% fat. That still seems awfully high to me. 15% sounds like a more reasonable number.
  • Thank you so much for sharing! We will try this out this weekend.
  • Fabulous! I hope I lose this much weight my first week. Since I started tracking my water consumption, I have found that I definitely am not as hungry. Keep up the great work!
  • I just started and am kinding that I am coming nowhere near the number of fat grams. Yesterday, I ate 17 grams of fat (goal was listed as 52). Today, I have had 18 (goal was listed as 54). Is my low fat diet going to present an issue?
  • We purchased wii with fit board for Christmas and it a lot of fun for the whole family. It also keeps the teenager off the couch. I am glad to hear that you do burn calories playing some of these games. I know I sweat it up on the hula hoop and tennis.
  • Does anyone have a good recipe using Fiber One cereal?
  • Great idea! I have a very picky three year old who likes mashed potatoes. Do you know what the calorie count is on this?
